This refrigerator is the same cubic foot total as our last side-by-side, but the fridge section is a bit larger and the freezer a bit smaller. I like the adjustable shelves so I can configure my fridge interior to suit my needs. I have only had it for two days, but it seems like a great fridge.
My only complaint is that it makes a humming sound almost constantly. This is normal according to the manual, but it is something I will have to adjust to. I wish I knew about the humming before making this purchase.

I am very happy with my side by side freezer/fridge, The side freezer is so convenient in seeing everything that is frozen as opposed to bottom freezers. Yes the fridge side is narrow but lots of space from top to bottom.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the way our new GE Refrigerator looks in our kitchen. We adjusted all the shelfs to our needs and are very pleased with how easy they are to adjust. Looking forward to many years of use.
