Very disappointing

This is our 3rd GE Profile. The first two were great, that’s why we bought another when we moved to a new house. This one has really poorly designed drawers (frig side) and baskets (freezer side). They remind me of an entry level GE unit, not the quality we are use to from a Profile. I almost think this is a mislabeled unit that is not really a Profile.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love The Black Stainless

We were looking to replace our 10 year old refrigerator and after researching all the brands available decided on this GE Model based on the features. We have had the fridge for 2 months and couldn't be happier with our decision.

Quality of product not good

On the installation day after a few hours of operation the freezer developed heavy deposits of frost vertically along the door seal. Upon further inspection I found the seal in that section of the door to be deformed, wrinkled, and wavy. I have service scheduled for January 6, 2015. If the repairs are successful I will return with an improved rating.

Freezer door is not sealing and has built up ice.

Ever since I have gotten the refrigerator, about a week ago, the freezer door will not seal correctly therefore there is major ice build up in the freezer and there is constant condensation on the bottom of both doors. I am going to try unplugging the refrigerator and letting it thaw out to see if the seal will then close properly. If not I will have to place a service call to have it repaired.

I've had this fridge for 4 months, and everything is still working as it should. After years of having refrigerators with problematic ice makers, I bought this one because of a CR review about its excellent ice maker, and so far so good -- no ice jams and minimal noise.
I would recommend this to a friend!

cosmetic problem

the tape used to hold down the plastic meant to avoid scratches on the water dispenser took off the finish. replacement door also had the same problem. Need to use less sticky tape on matte finishes

Noisey and cheaply made

This refrigerator looks nice and sleek in my kitchen, however it is very noisey. The interior bins are very cheaply made. The bottom crisper bin doesn’t slide well and isn’t sturdy enough to hold much.
