Not true Stainless steel color

I ordered this refrigerator online at Best Buy. I wanted it to match the GE profile duel flex oven and microwave I had recently purchased. That is why I stuck with GE and the profile line. The stainless did not match. The refrigerator is more like a slate color. The refrigerator that I received was a PSE26KYHBHFS. I thought maybe that was why the color was off. I went to the store the next day and the sales guy told me that the lower end models get this version of stainless while the higher end get a brighter actual stainless steel. I compared the refrigerator with the model I actually ordered in store and they are the same color of stainless steel. The $3500 French door GE profile around the corner in the show room was the brighter stainless. I was able to exchange the refrigerator and ended up getting a different brand because GE had nothing available in the brighter color that fit my space. If you don’t mind the darker color then it’s a beautiful fridge and it fits a lot of stuff. I really like the turbo cool and fast ice options. It’s pretty quiet but you can hear the ice dropping. Taking away a start because of the color issue.

Great fridge, freezer baskets don't fit.

We owned a GE fridge model before this one and my one complaint was that the freezer shelves were a little too narrow and would regularly fall out of the brackets. fifteen yearl later, they've replaced the too narrow shelves with too narrow baskets with the same problem! Really GE? You can't make them 1/4" wider?!?! Otherwise, it works great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Flexible Features

GE makes it easy to love this refrigerator! The shelving is so flexible that I can easily shift space to accommodate whatever I have going on. Ice dispenser works beautifully, guides ice into the glass eliminating ice popping out onto the floor.
