The lighting is fantastic

We bought this refrigerator to replace our old GE refrigerator. After looking at other brands and other GE models we picked this one. Whie is doe not have some of the features we liked about our old one we do like somethings which have been changed. We miss the wine rack but the adjustable shelves in the door and inside make is possible to store wine or tall bottles easily. The ice bin is much easier to access and the freezer shelves are arrenged much better than our previous GE or other models we looked at. Our old DE by the way did not die , it was fixible but considering its age (12 yrs) and the cost of repairs we decided to just get a new one and we have not been sorry.

Bought this refer 10 months ago, not a bad refer but the ice dispenser chute throws ice shavings and ice onto the floor after i remove the glass from the chute! Complaint #2 The ice machine mixes crushed ice along with cubed ice when selector is on CUBED ice mode! Very annoying! Installed new GE ice bin and it still does it it. Maybe a control circuit board?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I installed my refrigerator yesterday. It cooled down to the factory set temperatures in less than 12 hours. The drawers and shelves are sturdy with plenty of room for storage. The interior lighting is more than adequate, runs quietly and completely silent in between. The last GE in this home lasted 14 years and longer with a previous owner. I am hoping for the same results.

Bought this to replace 10 year old Profile refrigerator. Didn't actually see it in any store, had to order it, and I am happy, not to many changes. Only one was small bottle can rack on door was deleted, however the one from my old Profile fit right in.

Had an alternate import brand and it did not have the reliability nor performance of the GE. The import looked great but performed poorly. Glad to have purchaed a new GE.
