We purchased the GE Profile Refrigerator/Freezer to replace our current appliance. It was highly recommended by a service tech that has had positive experiences. The GE seems to hit the mark with all our "simple" needs.

Love my refrigerator

Love all the features. Only exception is the ice dispenser; when dispensing cubes it is with a lot of force. Have had 2 glasses break in my hand when ice cubes filling the glass. Be careful and use thick glasses.

Bought this to go into an new home. Purchased all Profile appliances to replace the builder grade package. We had KitchenAid in our old kitchen which we remodeled. Very disappointed with the quality and reliability. The GE Profile seems to be a much better quality product. The refrigerator is nicely designed, well lit and offer multiple storage options. The freezer is large enough for the two of us and it makes ice very quickly. Far quieter than our previous fridge. Water filter is very accessible and easy to change. The only change I would make would be to put on textured door handles. The smooth stainless handles, while very attractive, are impossible to keep clean or fingerprint free. I constantly wipe them off. A textured handle would be easier to live with. A small thing but something for GE to think about.

Manufacturing issues with gaskets. Generally good use of space except for sliding interior shelf.
