Disappointing temperature control

The temperature at the front of the refrigerator remains about 38-40 degrees regardless of the temperature setting. The temperature at the back of the shelves is 34 degrees when set at 34 degrees on the control panel. For this level of refrigerator we expected better performance or at least the ability to further lower temperature to get 34 degrees at the front of the refrigerator where we store most of our food. The control panel does not allow setting temperature below 34 degrees, so the coolest we can achieve is about 38 degrees at the front of the refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Refrigerator

We cannot be happier with this model. Bright LED lights inside and 36" width fits the built in cabinet surround perfectly. A lot of freezer room even with the automatic ice maker/dispenser. The adjustable shelves are great in the refrigerator and they have a much sturdier feel than that of any of GEs competitors.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice arrangement of shelves

We went to an all stainless kitchen, and this fit the bill. Has a good ice maker, and the shelve arrangement seems to have more room for food storage.

Like appliance, except . . .

We are happy with the refrigerator, though we had to do more assembly than expected. Then the ice maker quit when it was less than 3 weeks old. We had to buy ice, but then it started again without doing anything. Makes us less than confident in the mechanics of the machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just installed this a couple days ago. I really like the LED lights inside and on the door when using the water dispenser. The features on the control panel are simple and easy to use. As far as appearance, the stainless steel looks sharp in the kitchen however it does hold fingerprints and smudges easily. I was under the impression that the sides were also stainless steel but are actually dark grey painted metal, which is fine, but unexpected when it first arrived. So far working great and plenty of room for our food.

Very roomie, but greater depth than older model

Unfortunately doesn't exactly replace our older model (10 years old) because it's a few inches deeper and sticks out into our kitchen. But we are still enjoying the extra room in the freezer!
