Small inside

I feel it is really small inside. Compared to my last refrigerator side by side, it's bigger in width, but smaller inside. Stainless steel hard to keep clean, figure prints constantly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Place in service about 4 months ago, still evaluating the overall performance and satisfaction with it. It is the same exterior dimensions of our old frig, but with a foot or more less interior space. I don't like the set shelving heights and the plastic guides. It's operation seems to be more efficient and the cooling is uniform. As with the other GE products I wish the Stainless was a higher grade, but time will tell.

We had this exact refrigerator in our previous house and we loved it. Might I also say that we had a 3 door, top of the line model before and only had problems with it the entire time we owned it. We switched to the side by side and love it. We recently bought this same one for our new house and could not be more pleased. Makes lots of ice quickly, large storage bins, and it's quiet. Would definitely buy again.

Ice maker not so great

The ice maker can't keep up for a family of 2 that are home most days and have ice in most all our drinks. We have to keep a bag of ice in the spare freezer and usually have to dig into it every week.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our new GE Profile refrigerator is a perfect combination of excellent quality, useful features and great appearance, all at a fair price. Inside it has well-designed food storage with flexible spaces to fit our needs. We are very pleased with our choice.
