No problems so far

I got this when I upgrade to stainless, so far no problems just hoping it stays that way. Just after I purchased this item a friend that last years model started having problems after 9 months Ge did fix their problem but warranty is only for 12 months.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this several months ago to match up with all the GE appliances that we have in our kitchen. We are happy that we went with the Profile line for all of the appliances.

Five months into my ownership package with this fridge, and I'm very satisfied. It keeps a nice, steady temperature, has all the features I wanted, and is flexible enough to accommodate a variety of sizes and shapes of products in the refrigerator portion. The freezer compartment gives up some space to a Very Large icemaker/ice storage bin. I could get by with fewer cubes on hand (especially with the express ice feature) in exchange for a bit more storage room for food. The through-the-door ice and water dispenser drips a bit, too - not enough to even fill the drip tray ever, but enough to keep it wet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It doesn't have an egg holder, ice maker is to slow (quick ice)

APPARENT DESIGN FLAW

To my dismay the little shelf at the water/ice cube dispenser has no means of draining residual water, expect to remain in the tray or drip down the front of the stainless steel door. Do I have a manufactures' defect? My previous GE Profile side by side refrigerator/freezer, circa 2005, had an open grate that permitted water to drain into the holding tray.
