So we just got this refrigerator today. Plugged it in and the noise is SO loud!!! This is a profile for goodness sakes! It should be whisper quiet my old profile fridge was 15 years old and whisper quiet! Called the dealer we bought it from and now have to have it serviced on DAY 1 for the noise!! Waited 2 months for this thing and very very unhappy. We have all GE appliances and the quality of this fridge is terrible. If it doesn’t get fixed to take away the noise I’m sending it back! Very unhappy.

Freezer drawer baskets THE WORST

The freezer drawer baskets are too narrow for the freezer compartment. They will not stay on the runners, you can't pull them out without them tipping and falling down, and forget about trying to get them to go back in. GE sent me a replacement basket hoping that that would solve the problem but it's the box of the freezer that's too wide, not the baskets. The photo shows the groove where the basket should rest. The basket will glide in and out if it is completely empty. Put anything in the basket and down she goes.

Disappointed but hopeful

Received a fridge with a warped case and bulging sections by the top hinge and under the frame. It creaks like the haunted mansion every time the fridge door is opened/closed. GE service tech came out and tightened some bolts on a roller, but a day later the creaking resumed. There are also various other rattles, squeaks, and noises coming from the case. GE scheduled a 3rd party to evaluate the manufacturing issues. Hoping for a successful resolution from GE.

Last GE refrigerator (14 yrs old) was still working but decided it was time for a new one. Sure glad we did! Roomier and great lighting!

After our 10 year old GE Profile stopped working, we look at others but came back to what we knew we liked. It has the same features we liked about the old one with new LED lighting and we decided to try stainless. The middle shelf seems to freeze fruit, but no issues really.

Nice and Bright

Bought this in July when our Kenmore of 10 years died. Like the nice and bright features. However, it seems a bit smaller (not counter depth) than our previous fridge and no separate compartment for small items such as yogurts. Had to call customer service twice because the fridge part wasn't cooling enough and they kindly walked me through what to do (reset a couple of features; also on circuit breaker). Too many digital features to complicate things but otherwise a nice fridge.

I have had this refrigerator for six months and am most satisfied with it. The one change I would like would be to have the deep door shelves in the freezer and the shallow door shelves in the refrigerator.

Our new range and dishwasher. During the first six weeks we have had many problems with it including snow in the freezer, faulty electronics, as well as being the noisiest fridge we have ever owned! We are so disappointed with our expensive purchase.
