Works great. Very pleased. We replaced a GE refrigerator that was absolutely wonderful. We wanted to match the stainless steel.

Great fridge

We had a Whirlpool originally which was okay. Then we tried a Kitchen Aid, I don’t recommend. The GE is clearly the leader. Built well, nice looking, and the drawers move with ease, they seem to be designed better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After 21+ years with my old frig I finally had to replace it when it died. This was the closest I found to the important features I needed. Ice maker has been good, shelves are movable and 3 drawers to accommodate fruit, vegetables and cheese and other deli type items. Freezer baskets are good the door bins could be deeper like my old one. I love the lighting, it makes a bigger difference than I thought. If it lasts half as long as my old one I’ll consider it a win.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cheaply constructed. Dies what it's supposed to makes quality ice though! Had same exact model previously and it was made way better then this newer version!

Lots of room -Quiet

Runs quiet lots of room drawers are great. So far the ice maker is a little sluggish not making as much ice as owners manual says it should. It’s overall a great choice so far.

Problems from Day one!

The water dispenser slowly dripped from when received it. The valve replaced by warranty still drips. I still have to keep a paper towel in tray to catch drips, we are not drawing water and still drips periodically, bacteria will be growing at spout not healthy. We had similar model over 13 years never a problem thought to update, so sorry. Probably not fixable.

Hello there! Thank you for your review. We are so sorry to hear that you are experiencing constant dripping from your water dispenser, even after its been replaced. It is not unusual to see a few drops of water dripping from the dispenser after having dispensed water. This is caused by pressure on the water line and changes in temperature causing some condensation to form and drip.
On models with a grill drip tray, the tray will need to be removed periodically and wiped dry.
If water continues to drip long after the water has been dispensed, service may be necessary. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliances technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm

Good features, however, I was not impressed with the shelving slots, they take up much needed room. The design should have the shelves going all the way to the edge of the inside walls.

GE SIDE BY SIDE IS A WINNER!

So far I'm loving having a side by side fridge. I had the french door and pull out freezer and it was difficult to pack and find stuff in the freezer. I have plenty of space now and find it much easier to retrieve freezer items!
I also like the amount of ice it provide and the speed in which it makes the ice!
