All the features we were looking for. Sometimes when you buy something and get it home, not as good as in the store, not this time, better than in the store.

Literally falling apart

Parts are falling apart and breaking. I would like to order new parts so I don't have to replace the whole fridge and send it to a landfill. However, GE won't deliver to Canada. Don't sell to Canada if the product falls apart and you won't send replacement parts. I see every single part that I need has been a failure. Since they have also all been replaced. Hopefully with better quality. This is an embarrassment.

Not as good as the GE Profile it replaced

I had a 28 year old white GE Profile refrigerator this new one replaced it. We wanted to upgrade to stainless steel appliances. Overall the refrigerator is flimsy. For example, in the freezer compartment the slidable baskets tracks are just bump-out of plastic of the freezer wall. The baskets always slide off the tracks and crash into the basket below it. I have to lift the basket back onto the tracks. In the old Profile, the basket slide tracks were separate metal/plastic tracks screwed into the freezer wall. Much more sturdy. The freezer baskets are also flimsy and made with light weight, easily bendable, metal. The refrigerator compartment also has flimsy plastic shelves on the door. They will not last and will break if bumped with a bottle. Overall the interior is light weight plastic that is not sturdy and gives the appliance a cheap feel and a sense of a "throw away". If this is their top of the line refrigerator product line then I'd stay away from anything that is cheaper to buy from GE.

Poor Product

Sounds like an airplane taking off when the compressor runs. Frig and freezer door don’t align, the frig door sits higher than the freezer. Inside light didn’t work when first delivered and the circuit board had to be replaced. Parents have GE frig and also complain about how loud it is.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Much more quiet than our old Frigidaire

So far this refrigerator/ freezer is very quiet compared to the old one and it looks great. I probably should have waited for a larger capacity unit but because of Covid, it would have been a long wait. So far I am happy.
