Modern, sleek and quiet!

After our previous 29-year old GE 22 cu.ft. side-by-side fridge defrost system finally started malfunctioning, we decided to not repair it and instead buy a new 25 cu.ft. unit and update our kitchen. The new stainless steel fridge is stylish and everything that GE advertised and more. It has more room in both the freezer and food compartments, and great features like glass spill-proof sliding shelves with LED lighting for all shelves, a vast improvement over the old single lightbulb! The only noticeable noise the fridge makes comes from the icemaker and the compressor is ultra quiet! The through the door water and iced and temperature controls are easy to use. The website made it easy to compare various models to select the unit that made sense for our lifestyle.

Nice Fridge

Had this GE fridge for a year. It is a very nice unit. only issue is the freezer fan is in the back and unreachable. if there is any condensation on the fan blades it will vibrate every time it kicks on. it eventually goes away. Nothing to do for it but wait. The self defrost feature is GREAT. overall a real nice unit. Yes I would buy it again.

Very Loud!

We purchased this appliance about 3 months ago knowing from other reviews that it may be louder than our old GE model and that is exactly what we got. It is much louder than our previous Profile; however, I love the new interior lighting and ease of access to ice cubes. I would caution shoppers that the height listed on GE website for this model is NOT accurate. We had to have our lower cabinet cut in order for this one to fit even though the dimensions were listed as the same as our previous Profile model!! And, in case you're wondering, this model is magnet-friendly :-)

Bright inside

We bought this refrigerator recently and have been very happy with it. It maintains the temperatures in the freezer and fridge very evenly, runs very quietly and keeps us stocked with fresh ice cubes.

I had luck with my first profile so I bought another. The only item the new one is missing is the metal soda can rack that was below butter compartment in my old one. It was great because now sodas are going to take up space on the shelves.
