We just installed this frig and I love it already. So bright when you open the door. Quiet and really great looking with my other GE Profile Appliances. Best decision I could have made.

Have had my new frig for several weeks and I love it. wonderful lighting and so easy to see things. nice big door shelves and the ice works great. we use alot of ice and so far it is keeping up well.

I love my refrigerator! It cools well, has a nice water and ice dispenser, the lighting is great. It has a quick ice feature which doesn't make ice super fast but if you can remember to set it for overnight, you will have plenty of additional ice in the morning. It's quiet most of the time with only a low hum. It's pretty and we are very pleased!

The Ice Maker is noisy

The ice maker is noisy when on. You can actually hear it working. It is quite annoying, if there are no other sounds in the room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this refrigerator to replace a 6 month old 21.9 cu. ft. counter depth refrigerator that NEVER correctly kept an appropriate temperature. That unit was a different manufacturer.
I am most pleased to say this GE Profile model is excellent in its operation. Quiet when running and the ice maker is as well. I've been using the refrigerator thermometer I bought to verify the replaced fridges poor performance to test this new GE. I am so pleased to see VERY good temperature control in all of the refrigerator compartment without any hot spots. Even the door compartments are within two degrees of the inner compartment! The freezer side works very well. Again consistent temperature control is seen throughtout the freezed and its door compartments.
