The new replacement cover is definitely of a cheaper and thinner quality than previous covers and skeptical that it will last 3 years as the warranty suggests.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello John, we are sorry to hear the disappointment on your new grill cover. We will pass this information to our development team. If you have questions or concerns please feel free to contact us reviews@weberstephen.com. Thanks!
The cover is correct for my grill and it fits properly. It feels like it’s a little thinner than the original one but it’ll probably be fine. I recommend it.
Where continues to be the go to BBQ for every backyard. I have one Weber BBQ that is over twenty years old. All parts are still available, all though I have not needed many.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this cover for my new Genesis II 315, and the cover is a very tight fit. Overall width of the cover needs to be increased by 1 inch. I am worried the cover could rip when removing or putting it on.
New cover is great. Supple, easy to put on and take off. Will see how it holds up to the elements as my previous cover became very stiff, dry and difficult to use (after 5 years or so). So far this one is great!
