Poor longevity

Cover lasted less than a year before cracks in the material and flaking have started to form.
Cover appears to have shrunk while on the grill and attempts to remove it from or put it back on the grill have started to split the seams.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn't fit my grill

I got this for Father's day.
First thing I noticed is that it's not the same material as 16 year old cover I was replacing.
Second thing I noticed is that it hangs onto the ground, about 8 inches. Even tightening the straps all the way still leaves it dragging on the ground. Couldn't imagine having to unstrap and re-strap every time I took on or off even if it did fit.
Called Weber to double check I got the right one. Returned the item. Will use my old one until Weber figures this one out. Not impressed.

Thin Material Compared to Last Weber Cover

I will be keeping the receipt for this cover. It has a 3-year guaranty...
My last Weber cover for the Genesis Series was MUCH thicker and had a window screen sewn in the back. I had it 10 years. It's still good but will not fit the Genesis II E-315. I paid a premium price for this new model 7130.

Disappointing Quality

Bought a new Premium Grill Cover for my Genesis II LX 300 series as my old has deteriorated over time from the weather in Colorado. I was very surprised upon arrival of the flimsy material used for the cover and the fastening strips. Seems to me someone trying to safe on cost at the expense of the product. The old cover has much ticker material and padding which has protected my grills from many strong hailstorms. As a or the premier grill brand in the US I would have expected more to be honest, especially when considering the price.

I love Weber products with that said I'm not writing this review in any negative way. I just was disappointed in the new material that is being used in my replacement grill cover. The Premium one was made of quality material and lasted me 8 years. The last 3 years outdoors. That was the primary reason it failed but I was satisfied. The new cover is so thin and unfortunately more expensive that the one I replaced. I thought I had purchased the wrong cover at one point. I would just need some feedback on the new cover. Yes it has a 3 year warranty but I'm more interested in why the change? I doubt this new cover will last 8 years. I will still support the Weber brand and their products. They are superior hence my concern.

Doesn’t stay on grill

This cover is garbage for the price. It doesn’t stay on during windy storms. I’ve had to put the cover back on twice on the last two weeks. I never had this problem with my Char Broil cover. That cover had weight to it. This cover lets the wind under it and has no weight so it just winds ups getting uprooted and pulled off by the wind, even with the straps on the side. Same for the Performer cover which doesn’t have straps on the side but 1 inside.

This is not as good as the first one I got years ago. The quality has gone way down the price has gone has increased substantially up. Not the Weber I used to know.

Not worth the price

This is how my three year old grill cover looks. It started out black and began fading after one year. It has always been kept in a shaded area of my patio.Over this past winter the fabric began to disintegrate. So now it is not only ugly but also full of holes.
