Thanks for replacing my old cover

I was pleasantly surprised that when I wrote a comment about the Velcro wearing out on my 3 1/2 year-old grill cover, Weber customer service contacted me offering a replacement, even though it was out-of-warrany. The old cover was blowing off in high winds. Giovanna was great to work with and the new cover arrived quickly (see photo). I do share the concern of others that the new cover is not made of as heavy a fabric as the old model, but time will tell if it holds up.
Having received lots of comments from friends about the great condition of my Weber Grill, I do know that the Weber Grill cover plays a big role as well as that great Weber Grill brush.
Protects well, but doesn't hold up in the weather.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This cover is as good as or better than the generic covers. In my opinion however, Webber covers were better quality a few years ago.

My grill is about 17 years old and new cover is too small and hard to fit

The first summer I used it it ripped. Got worse over the winter months. Poor quality and doesn't take the cold weather very good. Weber needs to come up with a better quality cover

wimpy cover material

It does its job if the wind docent blow too hard. But is not the same material of the older covers. The third party covers are of a heavier eight material and preferable if you live in an area where the grille if 'exposed''.
