Poor quality compared to the original

I have a 20 year old Genesis Gold grill. The original cover lasted 16 years outside in the Michigan summer heat and winter cold. The replacement lasted about 3 years. It's become very brittle and cracked. The Velcro strips didn't last either. The lightweight material they claim is easier to remove and keeps the grill dry just appears to be the same
cheap material used on a cheaper brand grill.
I hope they go back to the old material. I will be looking for an alternative in the meantime

If I could give this a "0" I would. It was the wrong size. I ordered the exact cover for the one I have and did not see a size chart anywhere online. I would not recommend.

POOR QUALITY! BLOWS OFF IN SLIGHTEST WIND!

This is the third Weber cover I've purchased for this grill. The first two were high quality, heavy duty and never budged even when a tornado went through 1/2 block from our house. I just purchased this new one and the quality does not compare to the others. It's not nearly as heavy duty and it's blown off 3 times already in the slightest of wind. These things are NOT cheap. So disappointed. Love my grill but HATE THIS COVER!! JUNK!!

Too Lightweight

While it does, keep the grill dry while it's on, keeping it on is difficult. Even when I tighten up the Velcro so that it's overlapped by about 8 inches, the wind continually blows the cover off. I went out and bought magnets, put them in a fabric sleeve and attached three to the top and two on the bottom to hold the cover on. That works, but it would have been better to not need them at all. You would think an $80 cover would stay on...

Cover doesn't fit correctly

Bought the premium cover for the Genesis 2. When I went to put it on it fits so tight I'm sure the corners of the grill are gonna rip the cover considering how hard the cover is to put on and take off. Box says it fits the genesis2 at 59 inches wide. I measured my grill and it's 60 inches wide.

Poor quality seam coming undone in 5mo

I purchased this cover in Dec 2021 and in May 2022 (5mo) one of the seams between the top and bottom sheet are coming undone.
