Very effective and durable

I bought my Weber Genesis in 2012 when I lived in North Carolina. I got a knock-off cover that lasted less than a year and then replaced it with the Weber cover. I moved to Louisville Kentucky four years later and the cover is still in great condition despite the variations in weather between the two locations. Sure, the Velcro straps are showing wear, but that should be expected after 10 years in all sorts of weather. It’s a very good product and I will buy another if needed.

Bought the grill cover today and got my Genesis II E-310 LP Gas Grill yesterday (on sale), which, I feel like I'm 5 years old again and Christmas came early. In regards to the cover, it does seem very this, but I saw a Weber response to another customer with their reasoning and decided to give it a shot and keep everything in the family. I live in Western NC and the weather conditions aren't really harsh and my grill won't be exposed to direct sunlight for more than 2-3 hrs tops daily. I anticipate a good run with this cover and I'll be happy to circle back and update my review otherwise.

Purchased a new cover 2 years ago, but discovered a 6" rip along a seam while preparing the grill for a third season. Cover has done an excellent job protecting my Genesis-II 3-burner grill, but the wind on this island is truly brutal on these covers and they have yet to last 3-years. Thank god that Weber provides a 3-year warranty. Please send replacement.

It is too early to tell if the new cover will hold up as well as the old cover which was torn by a falling tree branch but it is a thinner material than the old one. I had to buy it online as the Weber dealers near my home did not carry it. I am not sure how long Weber keeps manufacturing parts and accessories made specifically for the model that one bought. The nearby dealer had a cover that the packaging indicated was for my grill as well as other models but it was too big. Luckily, I was able to find a cover for my grill size online.
