Not all the time do I like standing over a grill to make sure I dont burn my food but having the weber gives me a piece of my to prevent it. I love love love the fact that it tells me when to flip my food as well.

Very helpful reminders, and helps decrease distraction when your trying to maximize good drinks and time with your friends and family while grilling. This thing has alot of features I havent played with yet. Its a step up over a traditional timer as it combines temp and time to determine where your input meat settings are along their progress rather than just time itself.

Flawless Grilling Every Time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family uses our grill no less than 3 times a week. But, since I have gotten my Weber connect smart grilling hub, I have been able to become a Grill Master! Before, having the Weber connect, food would be inconsistent, and I would cook only about 4 different meats on the grill. All of that is changed now. The Weber connect is virtually fool proof in making perfect grilled meats/fish every time. Between the phone app, hub and probes, this is a simple, intuitive and comprehensive solution. Downloading the app and syncing the hub to my iPhone took less then 5 minutes. The app walks you through the grilling process step by step. You start by picking what protein you plan to cook and then what doneness. It then gives you step by step instructions on grill temp, grill prep, getting the protein ready, like trimming the fat off a roast, tying it up if needed, and/or seasoning, then it shows you how to insert the probe correctly and proper placement on the grill. It automatically sets the clock, tells you when to flip it, when it’s done and reminds you to let it rest. As for the hub, it allows up to 4 probes (comes with 2). One probe monitors the grill temperature and the other 1- 3 monitor what you are cooking. The grill temp monitor lets you know when the grill is at the perfect temperature to start cooking. The hub also has a display that indicates the temp of the grill and once you start cooking the time until you protein is done. Although I have not tried this because I only have 2 probes, with 4 probes you can monitor the cooking of three proteins, like three steaks, one rare, one medium and one well done all at once. This seems complicated but, the way the app works, it easily to setup and monitor all at the same time. I have found I can be anywhere in the house and monitor what’s happening on the grill with my phone. So far everything I have cooked using the Weber connect has come out perfectly. In fact, it has allowed me to start grilling almost any protein on a grill with consistency, correct doneness and like a grill master. Also, as a bonus, my family is much happier with the food I’m grilling now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great device for BBQ unboxed it charged it and did the updates that took about 25 minutes to complete, download the app which has some great features. And I started to cook tried it on a steak let me know when to flip the steak and when the temperature was perfect when I removed the steak from the BBQ to let it rest was perfect and juicy, very impressed. The magnetic base works great for sticking the unit to grill. Works great for keeping an eye on grill temperature, battery life is not too bad last awhile before you have to charge again, overall impressed helps on the BBQ the meats to the right temperature

Weber does it again...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this for my smoker more so than for my actual grill. I love that it does need to be used in conjunction with weber grills or smokers. I smoke a lot of meats and cheeses and this weber is perfect. It is so far super accurate on the temperatures and it charges and connects to either Bluetooth or Wifi super easy. I love the convenience of being able to have the app right on my phone. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for this type of thermometer. It is very versititle!

Grilling gadget

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will try this more and perhaps I can be more confident in its value. Pairs with a smart phone and gives grill temp and also core temp of meat being grilled. My Weber grill has a temp gauge which seems to be close to measured temperature. The probe to core of meat seems very accurate to producing properly cooked meat. Still find I have to be close to grill to monitor the progress. Didn’t save me any time but seemed to complicate it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Featured packed temp monitor and timer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being a Florida native I am outside grilling or smoking foods just about weekly if not even more often, as such temperature control is important. That said I snatched up the Weber Connect Smart Grilling Hub and started cooking!
In the box – The Weber Connect Smart Grilling Hub comes with the hub, charging cable, Ambient air probe and one meat probe. Note that there are four total probe connections on the hub so first thing I did was grab two more meat probes online.
Setup – Setup was quick and easy, you can either use the QR code in the box to get the App or grab it from your App store. In my case I use an android phone and it was easy to find in the app store. Once the app is installed and the hub charged just wake it up by pressing on the front edge of the penal and follow the instructions in the app and you are ready to go.
Use – First off you can simply use the app to time and monitor your temps OR you can get into step by step cooking instructions and other features. Now I have taken a quick skim of the app and have cooked twice on it now and man, there are a lot of features and notifications, this will take a little while to explore. What I have used I definitely like. As a side note this hub is not just great for grilling but my second use was in an air fryer (DON’T USE IN OIL FRYERS) and I would imagine it can be used just fine in an oven as well.
Final thoughts on the Weber Connect Smart Grilling Hub is that it’s jam packed with features I have just begun to figure out, it’s easy to use and the fact it connects to my phone is awesome. I love it!
