Good Features, Dissapointed

The device and concept are great, and makes my Summit Grill Center a smart grill. I got this a a gift, and I also have a SmokeFire with three built in hub. The problem is that the App only allows for one Hub.... either my SmokeFire or the Connect hub. Each time I use one grill or the other, I have to forget the other device and re-pair the hub. Weber has no plan for the app to support pairing data from more than one device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy Grilling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased a new Weber grill and got this to go with it. It's great to "relax" while grilling and not have to keep constant watch on the food. My husband has a tendency to under or over cook the fajitas, but with this constant reading, they're much better.

Pretty cool gadget for grilling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off by saying I’m color blind, so I usually grill my meats a little well done. The Weber connect smart hub can take the guessing out of grilling for me. It lets me know the temperature of the meat, and lets me know when it is done. You can connect 4 nodes, although it only comes witb 2. You can look up almost any kind of meat on the app for perfect grilling every time. My wife is happy that she doesn’t have to eat well done meat anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have enjoyed using this product when grilling hamburgers especially because it not always that easy for me to tell if it's pink or if it's plain undercooked! I love having this smart tool for the grill outside but also for our camping stove/grill. On some nights it especially hard to see in front of you, much less tell if something is properly cooked. We've had a great meal every time this tech tool has been in play, everyone gets their meat at the right tempatures for them, bo more guessing the meat games for us,clols

He really likes this thermometer. Accurate and can withstand the heat. We bbq everything from steaks and brisket to chicken and fish!

I wish my smart hub could have arrived working and not broken, seriously would have loved to left a nice review since I have had high expectations for this product. Maybe costumer service might not be that bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Temperature control in my grill has been an issue for me for a while so I thought it would be helpful to get a remote temperature sensor system. The Weber Connect Smart Grilling Hub gives you two temperature probes, one for your meat and one for the ambient temperature in the grill. It all connects to an app that you download for either iOS or Android. I had no issues with syncing everything up and the system works as advertised. The app is pretty basic in it's current configuration and I would like to see more features added, especially around multiple alerts being allowed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So my grilling needed a little pick-up so I got this Weber Smart Connect Grilling Hub. This thing is Awesome. The WiFi capabilities makes this little item just what you need for those long smoking adventures. Plug in the probes to your favorite food item, pick a recipe, set your parameters such as max temp warning, low temp warning, etc and away you go. Leave to run errands, go to work or go to bed. This thing will monitor your temps and cook times and let you know when it’s ready no matter where you are. You can even spot check your temps any time you want from anywhere. If you need a little edge when smoking your favorite food, you need to pick one of these up. You won’t be sorry!!
