I have had the grilling hub for a few months now and love it. It is easy to use and set up. My first use was with two full briskets, that I had to start on the smoker at 9pm so we could eat dinner the next day. It worked great and meant I didn't have to stay up all night tending the temp. There is on issue that I don't like. On the pre-programed items, you cannot change the weight of the meat. This really only affects the time calculations but it would be nice if you could adjust the weight. The alternative is to do a temperature range.
Skeptical about the preset programs, but worked phenomenally! Wifi feature is amazing! Bluetooth, alone, doesn’t work well with my grill area through walls and up levels, so the wifi is awesome! Magnet on back works well. You can also flip the base unit for a better viewing angle… the display auto rotates.
My medium well t-bone steak came out rare following the directions.

Thank you for providing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you did not achieve the desired doneness of your steak while using the Weber Connect Smart Grilling Hub.
Often when our grillers are having this issue, the probe has not been inserted into the ideal part of the steak. The probe should be placed in the thickest part of the meat with care that the tip of the probe is centered. If the probe is too close to the cooking grates or in a thinner part of the meat it could cause an inaccurate reading. For medium-well steak, we recommend an internal temperature of 145-155 F (63-68 C). Our Support team is reaching out to you via email to follow up with tips to get the most from your Connect Hub and make sure that we have addressed all of your concerns. Thanks again for your feedback and for being a Weber fan!
I picked up one of these in a big box store yesterday for smoking a couple of very large briskets. The hub was easy to set up and configure. If you use the predefined programing the app assumes product weight for you. The app brisket weight was 14-16 pound. Mine were 18 and 21 pounds. That drastically changes the cooking time. There is no way to change the weight of what you are cooking. There are no physical buttons for turning the unit on and no indication of where the hidden button is located. I think the ambient temperature probe should be probe one. While rechargeable batteries are convenient, when doing a long smoke the battery will not last. My briskets has to cook for 16+ hours. I had to connect a charger. There is no charging adapter, only a USB cable.
Don’t waste your money. Weber isn’t a tech company and it shows. The app has numerous UX issues. I feel like it was made by an engineering intern who tricked some vp into letting him do design work.
There are so many inconveniences that I just use a standard meat thermometer

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback. We are constantly working on ways to improve our products and our customer experience. Thanks!
I bought the connect about a month ago because I am not confident in grilling. I alway worry about not getting meat done to the right temp and needed help. This is everything I needed to build my confidence. Mission accomplished! I have grilled multiple steaks with multiple do requests at the same time with no stress because of this device.
The grill heat probe was an eye opener. The difference between the surface temp and the temp on the lid temp gauge was significant. The heat probe has made a huge difference for me.
The problem for me is that “turning off” the connect does not TURN OFF the connect. The battery continues to drain until it’s dead. I grilled two nights ago with it fully charged. Turned it off as Weber says and this morning it was completely dead.
I have to make sure I know we are grilling so I can pre-charge it. It can’t be a last minute decision.
If not for the battery drainage issue I would have given it 5 stars. As of now, I wish I would have ought a replaceable battery version where I could just pull the batteries to conserve. Photo is my morning charge of the device.
