The material on this cover is not as thick as the original weber cover I purchased for my grill 7 years ago. The original cover lasted about 6 years.

I had my last Weber grill cover for my Summit grill for 9 years of 24/7 365 outdoor use. It finally needed replacing. This new one seems to be made of a better softer material that appears will weather well.

A most SOLID cover but velcro straps ripped off 2X

Loved the original but the velcro straps ripped off, so Weber, in its most awesomeness, sent me a replacement. This cover has stood up just as well. No fade, no tears in body, protects great in winter, but again this summer we had a little wind storm and the velcro straps just ripped off the body/stitching. Velcro attaches strong but the stitching of the adhesives to the cover just need a stronger stitch. Aside from that it's the best grill cover there is.

The cover is exactly as advertised. I wish the Velcro straps were reinforced more where they are sewn to the cover - that was the weak point on my previous cover and seems like it will be on this one as well.
