The Chatham cookware instructions say to use a lower heat than with other cookware. I did & it took much longer to cook my steak than I expected. I've only used it once, so next time I will try medium heat (instead of medium-low). Grill marks & taste were wonderful. I grilled potatoes at the same time & they came out wonderfully. I can't wait to use this for stovetop to oven cooking. I also like the grills wt; it's easy to handle, & of course, it was a breeze to clean; no residue sticking, at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used my new grill pan several times with excellent results. Grilled foods cook evenly and thoroughly with minimal splatter. This pan is a welcome alternative to standing outside next to the grill during the heat of the summer. Clean-up is a breeze: simply soak briefly with hot soapy water and rinse off any stuck bits with a dishcloth. No need to scrub or use any kind of abrasive.
