I purchased this set to recieve WI-FI from my PC. My PC is a six core AMD Phenom II X6 1055 T processor on a Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H running windows 7, 64bit from a western digital 1 TB hard drive. Video is controlled by a GeForce GTX 870 graphics card. The power supply is a ULTRA 750 watt series 80. This platform was built for stability not speed. Using Wireless connect I am only able to connect for about 20 minutes max, and then it will drop out. If all you want to do is watch cable or satellite this set is for you. Any thing more will fall short. Maybe future designs will look to the future of television.
Pros: good picture
Cons: standard flexibility-very average
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good TV for price

Bought this TV a couple of years ago. Offers great quality video, full 1080p and sound. I have used it via air antenna, WiFi connection and TV streamers with good reception in general. The only glitch is when using streaming from TV, like Youtube, freezes after some time, makes a loud noise, like when you unplug an amplifier and the TV power cycles. I downloaded the last software version but didn't solve problem. Looks like also freezes when switching to Youtube ads too. But other than that, I'm very satisfied with the quality and ease of use. No TV guide though.. Other TV sets offer TV Guide when connecting to air broadcasting.
Pros: ease of use, connectivity options, smart tv, full 1080p
Cons: freezes with built in app
I would recommend this to a friend!

It keeps losing the WIFI connection with Bell. Laptops work fine from the same location but I most often cannot connect my computer to the TV.
Pros: satisfactory but not 1080p.
Cons: wifi connectivity is uncertain.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would love to give it a 5 star rating but it does not have a couple connections I wish it had. Like a mp3 player connection and proper optical connection.
