I was worried about upgrading my phone from a Samsung Galaxy S7, but I am really happy with the new phone. The transfer of my data and apps was almost seamless. I notices that I have to sign-in or sort of initialize each app as I use it, but it isn't hard. All my photos came over and they were scattered on my old phone and an SD Card, so I'm happy about that. The new phone has a very long battery life, and it is much faster than my old phone. The operating systems is a little different from the old phone, but so far I have been able to find about everything I have been looking for. I was really worried that my Password manager app, Lastpass wouldn't work, but so far, it works at least as well as it did on the old phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Couple of compromises, but still Samsung

Great new flagship from Samsung. There are compromises for reduced price. Screen resolution: doesn't matter and has NO negative effect, not even noticeable. Plastic back: I prefer, not as fragile, not as heavy. Could care less about "premium feel". I want functionality, which is what this device has. No SD card slot: Now this, I HATE. A competition copy that is absolutely horrible idea. This is what makes you Samsung/Android. No power brick: Another stupid competition copy, makes absolutely no sense. Change the cord, but no power brick to match it, all to "reduce carbon footprint". You're actually ADDING to the global footprint because now EVERYONE has to go out and buy a new one, with more packaging, more driving, more delivery services...complete stupidity. Outside of that, everything you expect from Samsung, another great device. Amazing battery life, great customization, powerful, fast. Great camera. I absolutely love this device, even with the compromises.
This phone was selected for my Daughter (Gray for myself and Pink for my wife, all S21 5G - 128GB) - it is fast, well designed and the transition using "Smart Switch" by Samsung made everything a breeze. It is just like using the old phone (our S7 Edge, which was a phenomenal platform for a phone, my daughter using the S10)
All the new updated features on the S21 made going from the S7 Edge to the S21 experience like you were getting a new phone not just the newest model. The quickness of 5G is great. Excellent platform and I am glad we upgraded now - it was the right choice!
