The phone itself is fine. Upgraded from an S9. Similar in size. Hoping battery lasts longer and memory is enough (no SIM on these). The issues I have are more with what I consider 'software' changes - changes to layout of the contact info, contact listing, messages format (especially with group texts) .... And because of those changes, when restoring thru Samsung Smart Switch (as instructed), I lost a lot from my previous formats (all favorites in contact list, profile pics on contacts, alpha list on right side of contact list, default phone numbers, changes to contact info within text messages (especially with group texts, as previously noted), etc. Basically it's changes within some of the Samsung apps. But I realize with 'new' comes 'change', and sometimes you just have to 'live with it'. Then there's calling Samsung customer service or speaking face-to-face with in-store personnel at ATT and showing them side-by-side (prior to trading the old phone in) the differences and lost info. Then getting a blank stare, shoulder shrug, "hey, that's just moving to a new phone", or listening to pre-written stock responses over the phone ..... But that should be for another discussion ....
Nice phone, very similar to the S8 I've been using the past few years. Took hours to get it set up, not all apps and info transferred with the ATT Smart Switch app. Samsung likes to change things up, and now learning (again) how to do things like take a screenshot, turning phone on and off (now requires 2 buttons instead of one), and how to sync up the multiple accounts between Samsung, ATT, Google and Microsoft. Sigh... Any wonder why I don't upgrade my phone every time a new model comes out?! Oh, and definitely don't miss the rolled edges on the S8!
