Some nice hardware, but weak battery & apps

Going from a pixel 4a to the S21 was a mixed bag. I love the S21 screen, in-screen fingerprint reader, cameras and wireless charging, but the battery is only getting me to early evening, and the main apps (messages, phone, calendar, clock, keyboard) from Samsung are poor substitutes for the stock Android counterparts. You also can't uninstall it deactivate them, and they still somehow keep rearing their ugly heads (i.e. when I go into settings for the Google phone app I somehow end up in the Samsung phone app settings).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
