I broke my Note 9 after years of stellar performance and, after finding out the Note line was dropped, bought this S21 5G Ultra in a rush. Honest opinion? I want my Note 9 back. This phone has been disappointing in several ways. It took half a day to get enough things switched over and set-up so that I could use it even with Smart Switch on both devices. Then I find out there's no aux jack, no pen (must be a note thing), and no SD card slot. The camera has an extremely hard time focusing if there's not really good lighting. There are so many differences that it makes the phone hard to use for like a week until you get used to it and I'm still not enjoying it. I hate the iPhone and this is a huge step toward mirroring that. I bought into Samsung because it was better than Apple now it's not. This phone could have been so much better but now you build overpriced crap like everyone else. Good job.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this phone. It is clear and easy to hear the person you are talking to on the other end. It is fast and efficient. Love the size of the screen. I have no doubt I will stay with the Galaxy line of phones
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly when you look at a Samsung, you automatically think well it’s not a iPhone so welp but that’s is what so amazing about the Samsung s21, ultra they are truly amazing phone from the way it works to even the way it looks it’s quite nice, your not going to find a android out there that is as premium as Samsung, you can’t but I would dare you to give this phone a try it is amazing device you might just give up your apple phone if you knew what you were in for
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this for 04 months now, great features and amazing battery life. I also ended up recommending it to iPhone users.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had the new S21 Ultra 5G for a little over 2 weeks. Love so far.
Camera features are a major improvement on the S10 I had previously. For an avid nature photographer I love it, was the main reason for my phone choice.
I was a bit surprised that there was: 1) No memory card slot for additional memory and 2) No headphone port. You can get an accessory that plugs into the USB-C port to connect wired headphones or a dual port that allows to connect a USB-C & headphones. I purchased both items, unfortunately I have already managed to misplace them, so have yet to see how well they work (definitely an inconvenience, if you purchase, I recommend attaching to you headphones immediately so you do not loose the adapter). One thing I dislike is have all my buttons on one side. It has made taking screen shots more cumbersome.
The ultra is a beast, close to Note size. My friends have stated it was just too big for them. Note: I have long fingers, so I do not have as big of a problem typing out text.
Definitely an expensive phone and honestly could only do the upgrade because I received phenomenal trade in value on my old phone.
I am a Samsung junkie ever since I switched to the brand 7 or 8 years ago. Bravo to the new phone.
And as always, finding a good phone case for any Samsung is a challenge. Would love to see the companies not neglect is non iPhone people. I always go with an otterbox, this year they slimmed their choices down to a disappointing two colors, black and navy...
Side note: My iPhone user boss was looking at my recent vacation photos and was impressed by the clarity and loved the layout.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this phone in June to replace am older Galaxy Note model that I have. I am very happy with the purchase. The phone is fantastic, the camera is great, the features including 5G and 120Hz screen refresh make it a pleasure to use.
