See Baby from Anywhere in the World (that there is wifi)

We love the nanit. Used it for our first and grabbed another one for baby sister on the way. Great to have a way to see your baby from your phone no matter where you are!

Works great in the beginning

Worked well in the first 3 months. Now it overheats, picks and chooses when it wants to send notifications and doesn’t recognize when the baby is in the crib until about 20 min have passed

Great quality camera that works across multiple devices

The camera quality and how the alerts/notifications and video streams works across my wife's smartphone and my smartphone is super useful. We switch off taking care of our baby often, so having multiple touch points to look at how baby is doing is great.
Unfortunately the main feature of breathing monitoring is where this product falls short. For some reason Nanit won't allow you to disable the alarm from sounding on the camera itself, which is daunting and very disruptive when the camera wrongfully detects breathing has stopped, and startles both baby and whoever else is sleeping in the room with a LOUD ALARM. Until Nanit fixes this to enable alarm to only sound on the smartphone, I'm turning this feature off. This makes this camera not so different from competitors tbh.

Sleep Insights are worth every penny!

My husband and I LOVE our Nanit. The camera is really good, but all of the data that Nanit gives you is what we love the most. It's so cool getting to see how much they slept and getting all of the advice each week. It makes you feel like you always know what's going on even if you haven't read a million baby books. We also watch the highlight reel EVERY MORNING and honestly it's the best part of my day seeing what Vinny was up to all night. The other great thing is the Swaddle. We used it for the first 5 months to see Vinny's breathing and it gave us our sanity back since we were really worried about SIDS. Overally I truly think every parent should buy one of these (and my friends honestly probably hate how much I talk about it) but it's the greatest thing ever.

Love the Nanit!

Love the Nanit! Had a different monitor but this one is much better as it has a much wider range and clearer picture. I just love seeing my munchkin rolling around in his crib so well from anywhere in the house. Sometimes he even looks directly into the camera which I find hilarious!!
