Exceeded expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If your a worrier like me you will love this camera. The floor mount is superb, I have 4 other kids running around the house while the baby naps and this has held up to them pushing into it or running around it and has not once moved. The clarity of the camera is amazing, the breathing band keeps my anxiety at bay because it will notify me immediately on the app if baby moves, there’s a change in temp or a change in breathing etc... so I can confidently leave the room to take care of my other mom duties while keeping an eye on baby with my phone. I also love that when I leave I can still check in on him while grandma and grandpa are babysitting. Set up was pretty simple. Took a little trial and error getting the stand set up correctly but that was more on my end than the stand itself! Once my husband took over it was up in a matter of seconds. I am so happy I was given the opportunity to test this out courtesy of the stellar product testing panel.

Keeping baby safe with my Nanit Pro Smart Monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently switched out our baby monitor for the Nanit Pro Smart Monitor with Floor Stand. I am so impressed! We have a small house and while I can hear the baby from the other rooms I still wanted to be able to see her and monitor her when I am not in the room. I have been so comfortable letting her sleep over two hours now as the technology is so good that I can see her smallest movements! What's more, I only need this one app now!!! It tracks how long she sleeps so even if the caregiver is with her - there is no need to ask any questions about when she slept and woke. I can view temp in the room and sounds detected. I receive age related tips to my app in box which have actually caused us to adjust a few things in our routine, for the better. I am just so incredibly impressed.
The monitor also came with a heart monitor band which I imagine is equally impressive. We haven't used ours yet as we have been so focused on the swaddle and transitioning out of it that we haven't yet worn it.
Lastly, I love that this monitor has the option for the sleek floor stand. It tucks right behind her crib and now when she transitions out of needing a monitor we won't have some annoying hole in the wall to deal with. Thanks to the Stellar Product Parent Panel for providing me with this monitor to test and review!

The set up of the camera was very easy when following the instructions provided. Syncing the camera to the app was also very easy. I love the alerts they provide, the camera was very sensitive and picked up on other motions/sounds. I really liked the app and the details it provided. I really would have loved if it had a option for multiples as I recently had twins and am using it for both babies. I also loved the milestone features.

Best monitor ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a must have product. I don’t think I have ever been as pleased with a baby product as I am the Nanit Pro. Thanks to Stellar Reviews I received the Nanit Pro to try out. I was provided the one with the floor stand and it is so convenient. We are able to easily move the camera to different rooms if we move the baby. The HD monitor is so clear and the app is amazing. It tracks babies sleep and monitors babies breathing while they have on the breathing band. It is such a piece of mind for new parents. My favorite features of this monitor are definitely the breathing monitoring and the sleep tracking. I also love how I am able to get notifications on my phone if there is sound or motion at babies crib. I love the Nanit and could not be more excited about it! I highly recommend for any parent of a newborn.

Great clarity!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nanit monitor provides an amazingly clear view and defaults to a full screen on their app. Since this is the primary purpose of a baby monitor, this checks the most important box on my list. The camera's floor stand was easy to assemble and didn't require tools. The camera stand is something I didn't know I needed until I started moving it around the house depending on where I had my baby sleeping (ie, crib vs. playard, etc). The Nanit app's intuitive design makes it quick and easy to set up everything and personalize your preferences. There is a "night mode" where your phone will go dark after 30 seconds of no activity and will not auto-lock so you can continue to monitor the baby without having to constantly unlock your phone to take a look. The app points out safety considerations and provides useful insights. There is a comment within the camera's view noting when your baby was last tended to which I found helpful especially when you are already trying to remember so many things on very little sleep such as when you last changed a diaper, fed baby, put down for sleep, etc. The app's insights point out milestones like your longest night's sleep, when they turn another month old, etc. The breathing monitor can be toggled on or off via the app and gives me added peace of mind. I use the Nanit swaddle designed for use with the breathing monitor and my baby absolutely loves the swaddle! We switched from another swaddle brand and he immediately started sleeping longer segments at night! The swaddle material is nice and soft, easy to zip him in and out and doesn't come undone or loose like many other swaddles. Great camera/breathing monitor system. Undeniably the best monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was blown away by the clarity of this HD monitor and the simple, yet highly versatile floor stand set-up. My previous monitor had terrible visual quality and it was always difficult to get the right angle. I found the companion app to be very helpful and intuitive to use. I love that the stream and information can be shared with other people and among different devices. I was even able to check on her napping while I was miles away at a doctor appointment. As someone that is a bit hesitant towards smart devices and Bluetooth-everything, I really appreciated that the breathing band was sensor/electronic-free. It’s really cool how the camera is able to use the band’s pattern to detect breathing. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to use the band because my daughter is still swaddled. I would have purchased the breathing swaddles that are available, but she is almost ready to transition out of the swaddle, so I’m looking forward to using the band in the coming months. Again, as a bit of a tech-skeptic, I wasn’t sure how much I would be interested in the data, but I must say I found the information to be super useful. Even the simple tracking of when she fell asleep is helpful – just one less thing I have to remember! My favorite feature of this monitor is the ability to turn the camera off directly from the app, otherwise I probably would have been unplugging the whole thing every time I took her out of the bassinet. I found myself using the zoom feature most often, usually to check her chest for breathing since I wasn’t using the band. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby monitor. It is not something I would have picked out for myself, but after using the Nanit, I’ve been converted to a believer in the idea of a smarter baby monitor that gives me more peace of mind.

The monitor for all parents

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this baby monitor to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We used it for our second baby as a newborn. We went through multiple monitors with our first as we have high standards for quality of video, quick accessibility (many monitors just aren’t fast to pull up and view live video), breathing monitoring, and versatility. I wish we would have tried the Nanit with my first as we wouldn’t have had to look much further! This monitor was super easy to set up, had tons of great, high quality features, and integrated breathing monitoring. We are huge proponents of safe sleep and follow all the AAP recommendations, but the breathing monitoring is just another tool that gives us peace of mind.

Great technology for a growing family

It’s put our minds at ease especially as our son has begun sleeping through the night (3 months old) Would have loved to have this when my son was a newborn as it has great features such as a nightlight and built in sounds to help ease baby to sleep would have been great for nighttime feedings. I did not use the breathing band but love the idea and insights it gives us parents. The camera is super clear especially as it sits above the crib which gives you a great view. Also - the app is super easy to use day and night and it’s great to give us insights into our sons sleep. I also pull up the camera on my Alexa show in the kitchen as I’m cleaning up for the night so I can ensure baby falls asleep. This is a must buy smart project that will grow with the baby as well as your family based on your needs. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby monitor.
