So many functions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This baby monitor has so many functions, it’s high tech but user friendly. We have it in our nursery over the crib. Our newborn only takes naps in there, but we will be transitioning her to the crib overnight. I like that we can angle the monitor to see almost our entire nursery while still having a clear view of the baby/crib. The app is easy to use. The insights it picks up on are interesting and will be helpful when our baby has more of a routine/ nap schedule and when we sleep train. I like that it lets you know when baby was put down for a nap, when they fell asleep, woke up, and how often they were checked on. You have the option for the audio to play even if you don’t have the app directly open, which is really convenient as I always have my phone on me but can’t always look at the camera if I need to use my phone for something else. I also get notifications when sound is detected which is great. It does a good job at notifying me when she is actually crying/awake as opposed to when she just makes little coos or grunts. I love that the breathing band doesn’t have any sensors or anything in it as I was concerned about excess radiation. The camera just picks up on the movement of the pattern on the band. The breathing band will also bring me peace of mind when we transition her to the crib overnight. The monitor has some sounds and while the quality of the sound isn’t the best, I still use it quite a bit as it’s convenient for naps since our primary sound machine is in our room. Overall, this monitor is a great option especially if you are also looking into a breathing monitor, this has more bang for your buck in my opinion. I think this monitor will be especially useful when we transition our baby to the crib overnight and try sleep training and learning our babies daytime nap schedule as she gets older. Neat concept

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed when I received this product as a member of the stellar product testing panel. The camera is small and light weight. This camera has a nightlight feature that warms the room in the most perfect way. Setting up this camera is quick and painless. I like that I was able to easily move the camera from the bassinet to the crib. The bands are just such a neat concept. However, you will need a few extra bands to get the most of this amazing camera. A super neat feature is that I was able to communicate with my baby through the camera speaker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is it weird that I actually squealed with excitement when the Nanit HD monitor came in the mail? I was given this baby monitor as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I felt like I had won the lottery. Where do I even start? We have a four month old daughter who has slept in a bassinet in our room since we brought her home from the hospital. I was so apprehensive about moving her to the crib, but this product made the transition so easy. We were previously using another oxygen monitor and camera separately, so I love that this replaces multiple products and that the app collects multiple types of data. The floor stand means that I don't have to drill into the wall or position the camera on a shelf and figure out how to get the perfect angle so I don't miss anything. The camera was so easy to set up and isn't an eyesore at all. The picture is crystal clear and I love the memory feature that allows you to snap photos of your little one sleeping or playing in the crib. The app was easy to download and set up, as well. The insights and alerts are fully customizable which is great. At first, I was a little frustrated because the monitor kept picking up every movement of her mobile, but you can actually adjust the area where motion is detected so it was an easy fix. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the movement and sound detection, which is helpful in a smaller home with a toddler, a puppy, and a baby. The app will also alert you if the temperature or humidity level falls outside of a desired range. I love going back and reviewing the time lapse videos. This has been especially helpful when I've been away from home at bedtime. It makes me feel like I was there even when I wasn't. I think it's one of my favorite features! Aside from the functions of the camera, the app also offers helpful insight and advice on sleep overall, as well as baby's development from one month to the next. It's like there's a parenting book built in!
The camera came with the breathing band and we purchased a 3 pack of additional bands to use at a very reasonable price. It's such a cool feature and I love that it can be used over a sleep sack at night or over clothes at nap time. Knowing that she is breathing well gives so much peace of mind and helps ME sleep like a baby! When we saw the pediatrician for her last well check up, I shared the insights from the app with her and it gave such a comprehensive report on her sleep habits, patterns, and quality. She was wowed by how thorough and comprehensive the app was and loved that I could share the data with her. She actually took down the info on monitor to share with other patients! Overall, I have been so happy with the Nanit HD monitor and will definitely be recommending it to anyone and everyone I know who is having a baby! I don't know how we ever got by without it.

Just had a second baby and it was a no brainier picking up a second Nanit. We loved it first one and the the pro is easy clearer and the wall stand works great for travel.

I love the Nanit and the ability to track my babies breathing. However, we have had quite a few false red alarms. Let me tell you nothing will get you moving quicker than the red alarms! It’s almost more nerve wracking tracking the breathing when it alarms all the time.
