LOVE this camera

When I first received it I had my doubts that it would live up to the hype, but I was so wrong! This camera is amazing! I was able to set it up by myself in only a couple minutes. I love that the stand continues to protect the cord until it’s a safe distance from the crib. I love how the stand helps get the best angle for watching your baby. Connecting the camera to my wifi and the app was very easy. The step by step instructions are very easy to follow. There are so many features on this camera that make it stand out among baby monitors. Being a third time mom I have gone through multiple monitors that never quite did the job I wanted. The Nanit pro camera is by far the best camera I’ve used. I love the breathing band, it gives me peace of mind to know I’ll be alerted if breathing is not detected. I love that it keeps me updated on how many breaths per minute. I purchased the smart sheets to see what they can do. They very accurately measured my baby and placed him on a growth chart! Having the built in sound machine is very convenient and helps cut down on nursery clutter. One of my favorite features is that the camera can tell when your baby falls asleep and keeps you updated on how long they’ve been sleeping. With three kids any mental notes I can take off my load is a huge positive for me. The app also alerts me of sound and movement in the crib. Overall, this camera is the camera I’ve been waiting my whole parenting life for!

I love this monitor and floor stand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I jumped for joy when I found out that i was chosen by Stellar Product Testing Panel to review the Nanit Pro and floor stand. I first heard about the Nanit brand of monitors through a friend who used one for her baby and she raved about it - so i was very excited that I would be able to enjoy all the features with my baby! Everything was nicely packaged and the instructions were clear and to the point. Setting up the floor stand was a breeze. In only 10 minutes I was able to get it assembled and plugged in. Setting up the camera could not have been easier, I downloaded the app, followed the instructions and it was all ready to go. Now i just had to wait for my baby to nap!
The camera picture is very clear, especially the night vision camera. I love the little notes when you check the camera, for example "Hi Mom, I fell asleep 17 minutes ago". Another feature i find really helpful is that the monitor shows the room temperature and the humidity which is a great tool! The background audio feature is great so you can still hear noises i you phone screen is off. The Insights data is informative, its nice to see my son's sleep patterns, noises, movements, etc. I do think the price for all the extra features is high though. Unfortunately my baby was too big for the breathing band that came with the package but i plan to get a larger one to try it out soon. Overall i am very happy with this monitor and it gives me peace of mind when my son is sleeping.

Love our Nanit and Floor Stand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this monitor! I wish I had had it with our first two kids, it really gives me peace of mind and helps me to see how my son is sleeping! When I first opened the box I thought it was going to be complicated, but it was very easy to set up, and the app is super easy to navigate. The floor stand is nice, it is a little bulky (to make it sturdy which I appreciate) so I couldn’t center it underneath the pack n play that we use for sleep, but it still works great positioned near the foot of his bed. The data that the app tracks is awesome-I often have no idea how many times I’ve been up in the night, but now I can easily track how often and how long we were up. It tracks naps as well which has helped me figure out how to start “scheduling” our days. I love that I can see everything right from my phone, so much more convenient than a separate screen. It also tracks average temperature and humidity which is nice. My favorite part of this baby monitor is that I can see everything from my phone, and the activity tracking to know how well he’s sleeping. Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor Floor Stand A MUST

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor & Floor Stand baby monitor from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This by far has been my favorite baby product and I use it daily. For reference, I have a 2.5 month old little one and he is our first child.
First, installation- was super easy and the set up was very user friendly. Set up only took about 15 minutes. I has a sturdy stand that can fit in almost any space. I really liked how versatile it was and didn’t have to be mounted or drilled into the wall. We could easily adjust the angle of the camera to show exactly what we needed. We haven’t had to move it yet, but this make it very feasible to move if we were to rearrange the room or use it in a different room. The base of the stand is designed in a way that could fit under our crib so we didn’t have a huge gap between the crib and the wall. It comes with a long power cord so it can easily reach any outlet in the room. (See photo)
Next, the app. Once we set up the monitor, I then downloaded the app. Again, a very easy process and self explanatory. I LOVE THE APP. I probably use it 5+ times a day. I love that I can monitor my baby’s crib from anywhere and I don’t have to be home. For example, while my husband was home with the baby, I ran to the grocery store, I remember I just opened the app while grocery shopping and I could monitor his crib from remote locations. I know I am going to love this when I go back to work, I can routinely check in on him throughout the day. I enabled notifications for the app- so I get a notification on my phone when sound is detected and when motion is detected at the crib. The app tells me the room temperate and the air humidity- which I know will be very beneficial in the summer and winter months. Something else I love is the app is compatible with my watch so all the notification will come to my watch too- so if I don’t have my phone on me I can still get alerted. You can also give “permission” to other car givers to join on the app- so my husband and I are both users on the app but we plan to invite my sister to the app when she watches our little one.
The app shows a live birds eye view of the baby’s crib (see photo) and you can make the image full screen (in full screen you can zoom in) or even do a Picture in Picture view (so a smaller version will stay on your phone screen) even if you close out of the app.
The monitor has a built in light and sound noise machine. We use the noise machine every night- we play the white noise and it definitely helps our little one get and stay asleep. The built in night light can be turned on from the app- it has a timer and also a brightness scale-I have used this many of times during the middle of the night when I didn’t want to turn on the bright room light.
The monitor came with a cloth belly breathing band that Velcro around the baby abdomen/chest and through the technology will monitor breathing patterns. If it senses a lapse in breathing a very loud alarm goes off on your phone (the alarm reminds me of an Amber alert on your phone). The way I heard it was you can “trial” the alarm so you know what the sound hears like.
My husband and I also love the feature that you can take photos and video recording clips from the monitor. We have captured very funny and cute clips that we can save! There is an activity log- which helps me keep track of when he was put down to sleep and when he woke up so I don’t have to manually track that
Insights- I haven’t really found the data very beneficial at this time. However, that could be because my little one is still young and the sleeping patterns are still very unpredictable. I plan to continue to use it over the next few months to see if Insights can give me any good recommendations.
To be honest, I don’t really have any cons for this product. Everything that I have discovered has significantly surpassed my expectations and I will definitely be recommending this product to new moms.

Love this Product Mostly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product-mostly! This is the second Nanit that I’ve owned so I am familiar with a lot of the features. With this updated version with the floor stand, sent to me by Stellar Product Testing Panel, it was exactly what I needed for my second son who is still in a bassinet in our room. The floor stand is so easy to set up and allowed me to have a Birds Eye view without having to make any holes in my walls knowing I’d be moving my son in a few months to his own room.
The monitor itself is pretty easy to set up with your WiFi as well.
The insights data is my favorite! It helps me track when I put the baby down so I know when to wake for feedings. I don’t have to use another app to track he sleeping stats. And the video playback is great Esspecially when they start to roll around.
I was unable to test the breathing band as my baby is still in a swaddle and that is a hazard according to the instructions.
The only reason I have this a 4 and not a 5 star review is because after a few days of using it, I started having connectivity issues. I’d have audio but no video, disconnect completely, or have a clicking noise on the monitor itself like it was switching back and forth from night to day mode, but without actually changing. I’ve had to since stop using the monitor since it was not providing me with the monitoring I needed. I’m not sure whether it’s the monitor itself or something with the stand.

Priceless peace of mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The camera was super easy to assemble. The app is incredibly user friendly. The picture quality has always been super clear. I was a little hesitant at first to use the breathing band, but it provides another sense of security. Before using the nanit, I was one of those moms constantly checking the camera, making sure my baby was safe, breathing etc. I sleep so much better at night knowing nanit will alert me if any issues arise! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought that the monitor with the floor stand was easy to set up and had simple instructions making it quick to use out of the box. We haven’t had the chance to use the breathing band yet, but we are super excited about that feature and think it will be great for tracking our baby’s sleep. You can watch your baby in real time and talk with them seamlessly through the app. My favorite feature was the ability to capture the growth of your child with the app. You do have to pay for a subscription if you want to take photos and store them in the app. Overall it was a great monitor. Thank you Stellar Panel for providing this product for me to try!

Nanit floor stand and camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby monitor. I really loved the Nanit camera and floor stand. The assembly of the floor stand was as easy as can be. I like that the cord has a built-in cover to keep it out of the way. The camera itself was easy to install and adjust to the exact position I needed. It has a wide bird’s eye view for such a small camera. The breathing band was easy to use and gave me peace of mind while my son slept and I was able to other things around the house. Another thing I like about the Nanit camera is the insight. It’s nice to see a recap of the night. It allows you to be that “fly on the wall” why baby is sleeping. This is one of the features I use the most as I can see his sleeping habits/patterns and adjust as needed.
