So happy with this monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a parent of a preschooler and an infant and have used several different monitors over the years. The Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor & Floor Stand is by far my favorite.
I was impressed as soon as I opened the box with how sturdy all of the pieces felt. Putting it together was a breeze and I really appreciated having both a physical manual and being able to be walked through by the app.
The stand itself is great. It feels substantial while also blending into the room. There's no worry about cords thanks to the included cord covers.
The app is really easy to use. You can use it to view live video of your baby, listen to audio, and get alerts if your baby makes any noise. You can view data about how your baby is sleeping, play music, check the temperature and humidity, and - the really special part - monitor your baby's breathing.
The breathing monitoring feature is really helpful. I love that it's just a simple band you wrap around your baby. Thankfully, I've never had any alerts but I love being able to open the app and check on my baby's breathing just for peace of mind.
Additionally, I love the video snippets of our nights together. The video quality is A+ and even when she's been up 5 times in one night, I love watching how our night went! Takes a little bit of the sting out of the frequent wake ups! A little, I said...
I've used the background monitoring every night and have had zero issues. I can be a bit of a paranoid parent, and I have no problem trusting it to let me know when my baby needs me.
Overall, I'm really happy with the Nanit. It's a great WiFi baby monitor with a user friendly app with lots of data and breathing monitoring. I would definitely recommend it to other parents. I received it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Best monitor on the market

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so pumped to use this monitor. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby monitor. The monitor and floor stand are very easy to assemble. It comes with a cord protector if you need to reach the outlet without the cord being exposed. I had previously used the tripod version of the floor stand, and the upgraded new version of the flat base is such an improvement! It fits so much better under the crib. We love being able to see our daughter on our phones. The insights data is super helpful tracking her sleep patterns and swing her progress. We try really hard to keep her on a stead routine. I love that we can see her average bedtime and time spent in the crib.
I think my favorite part is the split screen feature. We are excited to see both kids on one screen without having to rotate through to different screens!

We all sleep a little better with Nanit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After feeling let down by another leading monitor, we were searching for another option. So when Stellar Product Testing Panel sent us our Nanit, a few features looked like game changers for our family.
The first key item is the breathing band. Nanit's camera maps the pattern on the band and tells you your baby's breaths per minute throughout the night. We have a NICU baby with respiratory issues. While a doctor is the only person who can diagnose and treat these issues, the Nanit allowed us to observe his breathing patterns every night and help us recognize situations where his breathing patterns would change. Maybe he had a cold. Maybe he was getting a tooth. It's a unique tool for viewing what's going on with your baby. More importantly, we had a lot of false alarms with other monitors. That 30 seconds of thinking your baby is in peril takes years off your life. There were none with Nanit.
The next feature was the floor stand. We had to mount previous monitors in the corner of the crib which sometimes resulted in obstruction or less-than-ideal views. In those locations, the kiddo can also grab/pull the plugs, so we had to come up with creative fixes to keep him from accessing the chord. The stand eliminates these issues.
I also love setting the audio to background on the iPhone app so no matter what I'm doing, I can hear what's going on in the nursery.
The Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor & Floor Stand is such a valuable part of our routine. I wish we had it for our oldest child.

Best monitor out there

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a big fan of the Nanit pro baby monitor and floor stand. I’ve been using it with my third child, so I’ve been around the baby monitor block before and nothing I’ve ever tried compares to the Nanit. The picture quality is phenomenal and the insight data is so helpful to get a good idea of what my baby’s sleep patterns are. My favorite part about it is that it gives me some peace of mind knowing that if he stops moving I’ll be alerted because of the belly band. The belly band has worked well for my 20 lb baby-but I see us needing to transition to the sleep sack or sleeper soon as it’s getting tight on him. The only con for me is that the floor stand assembly was not super intuitive. Reading the instructions as opposed to watching the video proved to me much more helpful. The floor stand is sturdy and I have no concerns about it falling or tipping. I love how high it is, and how secure the actual camera is on it. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending this to us to test out. We truly love and highly recommend it.

Great Quality Video

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite thing about this Nanit Pro Smart Monitor is the crystal clear video I get to my phone. It’s amazing!! As a mom of five with kiddos ranging from 10 to newborn I’ve used a lot of monitors. Nothing compares to the quality of this one! The floor stand is heavy, easy to put together and fits wherever I need it to go. The camera on top swivels so I can get a clear view of whatever I need. I love the Nanit app. I can turn the camera on and off right from the app. I love that it sends alerts for sounds and motion and even if a visitor (sibling lol) appears near the baby’s sleep space. I had trouble connecting the camera with the Bluetooth but that is really the only issue I have found with the camera. I love it and am thrilled with it. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to try this monitor out.

Amazing peace of mind

I honestly cannot recommend this monitor enough. The physical set up is quite simple and straightforward, and super quick. The one issue I had was getting it connected to my wifi. I ended up moving the unit right next to the router until it connected, then moved it back to next to the crib.
There are so many amazing features that make this monitor worth it. It alerts you to sounds and movements from the zone being monitored and records a snapshot for you to view later as well. The nanit monitor also has a built in nightlight feature and sound machine. The sound machine can be set to a timer and has several options including nature sounds and lullabies. Both the nightlight and sound machine can be controlled from the app on your phone. My absolute favorite built in feature though, is the temperature and humidity gauges. We don't have central air, so it can be difficult to gauge the exact temperature in our bedrooms, but this takes all the guess work out of dressing my little one for bed.
Another feature that I absolutely love is the breathing band. Nanit has sleepwear and a fabric band with a specific pattern on it that the monitor tracks to measure your baby's breathing patterns. You can turn the feature on or off in the app, depending on if your little one is wearing the breathing wear. My monitor came with a 0-3 month band which still fit my almost-8-month-old! I did end up purchasing the larger size for when he outgrows this one because I love the peace of mind it gives me. As a first time mom, I worry about every little thing, so one more safeguard to make sure my baby is sleeping safe and sound is always a win for me!

This camera is perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled to have received this camera as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The features are exceptional, from the room's temperature to notifying me every time baby makes a sound or motion is detected. My favorite part is how it compiles the nightly activity to show how many times I interacted with baby the night before and that it keeps track of how long baby slept so at the end of the day when I'm unsure of how long his nap was, I can look back at the activity in the app. After trying this one out, I have ordered another camera to use with our other child. It's also fantastic for date night since our son struggles to go down without hearing mom or dad's voice, so now, we can talk through the camera and tell him "night night" and he goes right down for the sitter. The only negative is the lack of a parent console, which was easy to overcome as we just turned on the iPad and kept it on. (It also does great on my phone; I'll leave it in the background, and when he starts stirring, I can hear it and switch to check on him.) Also, when our wifi was down, we obviously couldn't access the camera. This isn't a make-it-or-break-it for us since we have another set in that room to listen for noise. It reconnected immediately as soon as our service provider fixed the outage. Overall, I recommend this to all my friends who need a new camera.

The Tesla of Baby Monitors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are so many amazing features we love about this camera! First off, the video quality is so clear; even the night camera is crisp. Assembly and set up is very easy and I love the floor stand because we can move it around easily and it keeps the cords tucked away so the little fingers can’t get them. Another cool feature is the insights on the app, it gives me a lot of information like sleeping times and sleep quality. I am also able to see trends with the app. Finally, we tried the breathing band a few times, however my daughter was not a big fan of it. I think that feature would be awesome in the newborn stage. With all the amazing features it is definitely worth the price tag! I received this product as part of a Stellar Testing Panel program.
