Great WiFi monitor and great design

I recently had the opportunity to try out the Nanit Pro, an advanced baby monitor that offers an array of features aimed at providing parents with a comprehensive view of their baby's sleep and safety. As a parent concerned about my child's well-being, I was intrigued by the Nanit Pro's promises. Here's an overview of my experience, including the pros and cons.
Let's start with the positives. The Nanit Pro truly excels in providing advanced sleep insights. It offers detailed analytics and personalized tips, allowing parents to gain a deep understanding of their baby's sleep patterns. This valuable information helped me make informed decisions about sleep training and establish a consistent bedtime routine.
The video and audio quality of the Nanit Pro were exceptional. The high-definition video streaming allowed me to see my baby with remarkable clarity, even in low-light conditions. The audio was clear, ensuring I could hear my baby's sounds and movements. Additionally, the built-in white noise options helped create a peaceful sleep environment, promoting better rest for my little one.
The Nanit Pro's integration with a user-friendly mobile app was a significant advantage. It provided convenience and flexibility, allowing me to access real-time video streaming, receive notifications, and review sleep analytics from anywhere. Whether I was in another room or away from home, I felt connected and informed about my baby's well-being.
However, there were a few downsides to consider. The monitor relies on a Wi-Fi connection, so any disruptions or outages in the network may impact its functionality. Setting up the Nanit Pro initially took some time and effort, as the process can be slightly complex compared to other monitors. Lastly, the camera's limited pan and tilt capabilities meant that the field of view remained fixed.
In summary, the Nanit Pro delivers on its promise of providing advanced sleep monitoring and insights. Overall great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this baby monitor through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, I really like it! The floor stand was super simple to set up and I love that it’s not mounted to the wall so I can move it around without having to patch holes in the wall. The downside to this though is that my baby learned to pull up on his crib the week and proceeded to grab the stand and shake it. I’m sure there is a way to get it out of reach but I didn’t want to pull my crib any further away from the wall.
The camera is great quality and I love that it uses an app on my phone so I don’t have to carry my phone and a bulky monitor around the house during naps. However, with the camera on my phone battery drains SO fast- so that was disappointing. Also, at night if I leave it plugged up and running, my phone gets pretty hot.
I didn’t personally use the breathing band because I don’t love the idea of something wrapped around my child at night and sending signals to an app- but I 100% would use it if my baby had any sort of medical need or if he ever gets sick and I’m worried about his breathing. I think that could bring peace of mind during sleep!
The other aspect I really like is how the app lets me know how long ago I laid my baby down and thus how long he’s been asleep. It takes the guesswork out of it when I forget to look at the clock!
So overall, I think if the app didn’t drain my phone battery or make my phone hot while plugged up I would be all in. I think I’ll use my bulky monitor at night and this one during the day for convenience.

Peace of Mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First and foremost, this was SO easy to put together. Everything snaps together and there's no need for drills or hammers to mount something to the wall. This is a big plus! Linking Nanit to our phones was also easier than expected. You sync the camera by pushing a single button on the device. We didn't find the breathing band quite as useful, but I would have loved this feature with our first born when we were nervous first-time parents. My favorite feature is the quality of the imaging and sound; it's lightyears ahead of our old monitor. Last but not least, I love the peace of mind of being able to check in our daughter when I'm away. Having the Nanit app allows us to check on our baby when she's with the nanny or I'm traveling for work. I cannot think of one drawback to this baby monitor. I'm a big fan!

Smart baby monitor with tons of data

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first smart baby monitor I’ve had and overall I’m really impressed. To start, it was extremely easy to set up the floor stand. The only thing we don’t care for is the tubing for the cord- it doesn’t really help us in any way and it’s kind of a pain to move around if needed. Once it was set up, we got it placed by the crib and downloaded the app. It was easy to sign up for an account and get up and running immediately. There are so many features to this camera. I’m used to just a normal monitor and camera that we’ve been using for the last 2.5 years. Some of the features I like include being able to go back and view camera footage at anytime. You can even save special “memories” for each child. I honestly wish I had these features from day one of my parenting journey. I also like the insights data and being able to see how much sleep my little guy is getting. My only hesitation with the amount of data provided is that it could be triggering or extra anxiety inducing for any new moms that may already have extreme anxiety. With my first baby I may not have benefited from knowing all of these little details (like how little sleep we were getting). The camera also came with a breathing band which is too small for my baby at the moment so we tried it on but didn’t utilize it. Again, would caution against the use if it may be bad for mom’s mental health but could see how these extra features may also provide comfort and assurance to parents as well. I look forward to using the monitor and learning more about all the capabilities as we use it for a longer period of time, but so far I like it very much! Good addition to our baby gear. I was given this baby monitor to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Great Insights From Nanit

Setup:
Overall, this product was extremely easy to set up. The floor stand goes up very quickly and is easy to adjust to the necessary height. The app is pretty intuitive and didnt take much effort to get used to all of the different features (I am usually a novice when it comes to technology).
Use:
The product is super easy to use. Its definitely a top of the line monitor and you get what you pay for. The insights it provides are very useful and interesting. I love the breathing band technology as it gives me some much needed peace of mind as a parent. I love the nightly recaps of her sleep too. Being able to use the app when we have a babysitter and not home is great too - Just another layer of peace of mind it provides. I would highly recommend the Nanit to any new parents as its the best out on the market for sure.

Best camera system on the market

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only had the Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor with Floor Stand for a couple of weeks, but it is easy to see why this is considered by many to be the best camera system on the market. The comprehensive suite of features is extensive and if you are a first time parent or just anxious in general, the piece of mind that comes with this camera makes it worth the premium price tag.
Upon opening, the assembly process very straightforward, and getting the app paired with the camera was trouble free. Image quality both during the day and at night is excellent, perhaps the best I have ever seen on a baby monitor, and while great image quality is important, the Nanit software is what really sets this camera apart. My favorite feature is the breathing band included in the kit that allows for real time breath tracking. I like that there are no electronics being worn directly on baby’s body compared with other monitoring wearables on the market. The band is comfortable for baby, and it was so nice to have the breath tracking during a recent sickness. We were able to rest better at night knowing the Nanit would alert us if things went off track. The camera even continues to work if the power goes out, which another feature that helps ease an anxious parent’s mind. The Insights information provided by the software is a joy for data nerds like my husband. Observing trends in our baby’s sleep patterns, length of sleep, and quality of sleep has helped us make adjustments so that our baby is getting better overall sleep. I personally love the milestone videos and the ability to save memories. My only issue with all of these wonderful features is that they are only included for the first year, and I am already hooked, so there will be additional cost to keep things going.
I am truly thankful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing our family with this baby monitor. In a short time, it has become a vital part of our baby care routine and is providing so much peace of mind. For any parent looking for a reliable, comprehensive monitoring solution, I highly recommend the Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor & Floor Stand.

Every feature you never knew you needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor & Floor Stand. Upon first receiving the monitor I could tell it was going to be great quality. The packaging and instructions is really well done. This made setup a breeze. Learning how to navigate the app and camera was very simple. I love that you can add other members to the parenting team but also can limit their access if needed. The floor stand is a great addition. I’m the type of person who rearranges the furniture a lot. It’s perfect that I don’t have to worry about putting holes in the wall and can put it anywhere in the room. Another great feature is the built in sound machine. It’s nice to not worry about one more device. Which brings me to the breathing band. I LOVE that it does not put an electronic device on the baby. The camera simply watches the movement of the band that you strap around your baby. The velcro is very secure so I’m never worried about it coming undone. The breathing motion monitoring gave me great comfort while my baby is sleeping. My baby can now roll over and I love that even if he rolls to his belly the monitor will still track his breathing. Lastly I love the app. It’s great that no matter where I am I can see him on my phone. Overall this is a great baby monitor. I think any parent would be really happy with all the different features this has to offer. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby monitor.

Amazing quality and incredible convenience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Straight out of the box, this floor stand and monitor were super easy to understand and assemble. I really love how much effort is put into ensuring children's safety- the cords come with nice built-on covers that minimize the risk of your kiddo getting tangled. As a parent, these sorts of things make me appreciative of a brand- my kid's safety is definitely my priority. Once you get to the set-up, it is incredibly easy. Everything is laid out nicely and the instruction booklet is easy to follow. I was super excited to discover that the camera adjusts not only up and down, but side to side. I was able to get the perfect view of my kiddos crib, and as he grows up, I can use it in his big-kid bedroom to continue keeping a close eye on him. The quality of the camera is incredible, it's very clear and crisp and only has a 2-3 second delay (we tested it out of curiosity).
The insights data is amazing! I love that it holds onto memories as well, and it is very easy to save a memory. I am considering upgrading to the higher tier so I can hold onto even more video clips and see my baby's growth in the videos the app makes.
Overall, the floor stand is my favorite method of mounting a baby monitor. It's so convenient and can be placed just about wherever, while still providing a perfect overhead view. I love that it connects directly with my phone and I can check in on my kiddo whenever. There was an instance where I had to miss bedtime and being able to tell my son I loved him before bed via the Nanit was the only thing that made it a little bit easier.
If you're on the fence about picking this up, just do it! It's amazing and really helps me to have peace of mind.
