Sleek, beautiful, & the best coffee ever!

The beautiful Clara double-walled stainless steel French Press makes amazing coffee! I did a lot of research and wanted a French Press that didn’t break like the glass model and kept your second cup of coffee hot. The 24 oz brews enough for two large mugs ~10 oz +. I like the feature of the measurement lines inside the carafe, especially the max water line. I don’t use the line for coffee because that ratio makes a stronger cup of coffee for me. However I played around with different amounts of coffee “scoops” and found the perfect ratio for my taste. With water heated to 205-degrees with my smart Corvo EKG Kettle and grounds steeped (or “emersed”) for ~4 minutes before pressing down the wonderful plunger/filter, I found this to make the most amazing coffee I’ve had in a awhile! I find store bought ground coffee to work just fine. I also like the included stirring spoon to make sure there are no clumps of grounds after you pour in the water, so they steep evenly before plunging. Again, I love this!!

This is a beautiful piece of brewing craftsmanship. I love everything about it, from the sleek design to its highly effective filtration and thermal envelope. Not only does it fit the style of the rest of my Stagg EKG kit, but it functions like a beast, producing silky, rich, complex coffee every time.

This was a replacement for my original Clara purchase) The Clara is a terrific french press; the insulated walls, nonstick interior, and extra-fine filter are wonderful features. Makes a lovely, rich cup of coffee with ease. And looks darn gorgeous while doing it.

Great product with small challenges

This is a great start to my day!. The press is awesome and the measure lines make it so easy. The only challenges I have is that it loses its heat after about 2 hours so I have to finish Up my 3rd cup by then. And the agitation paddle cracked a bit.

I love my Fellow mugs. But the French press produces market coffee. It keeps the coffee warm but it is not as good as other French presses I have had in the past.

Beautiful design however the wooden handle has started to loosen after only a month of owning. It can only be tightened with a hex wrench. Otherwise it keeps my coffee warm for a long time which is preferable.
