I have no complaints with Clara French press itself. The vacuum insulated canister keeps my coffee piping hot two or even three hours after I've made it, and being made of metal it's studier than the many (broken) Bodums I've owned over the years. My complaint is about the beautiful but dysfunctional walnut press. After just two weeks of use my press handle came unstuck. Worse, it's already showing signs of water damage. And try as I might, I can't keep it dry while rinsing the device. In short, don't be led astray by the walnut's aesthetic enchantments. Stick with the original (and save money in the process).

Hardly Worth the Cost

I am usually a fan of Fellow products, but this one feels like an overpriced miss.
While gorgeous with a premium feel, the “nonstick” is misleading and doesn’t work at all. The inner coating has begun to come off after two careful uses, and the measurement marks are very hard to see. It’s incredibly hard to justify this french press at 4x the cost of others.

I have a number of Fellow products and I’m impressed with them all, but have to say I’m a bit underwhelmed with this item. Overpriced for sure. No difference in sediment at the bottom as compared to competitors.

The best French press ever made

I bought this French press and then later that evening got hit by a taxi while biking. This French press did not break did not dent and was in perfect condition even after the accident. It’s incredibly sturdy and well made, makes great coffee too! Love it
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the cutest and best French press I have ever had or met. Coffee tastes smooth and it’s such a joy to use. I’m excited to use it every day. The design is so good!!!

Great product. Definitely keeps coffee hotter for longer than any other french press we've ever had. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price.
