It looks nice, sounds great on paper, and has a few solid features for actual use, but just doesn’t measure up for the money.
First, the non-stick coating does next to nothing to get grounds and sludge out easier, and it is incredibly delicate - scratching easily with ANY metal contact. I should have known better, but disappointing nonetheless.
Second, you’re going to get as much sludge as any other French press. The mesh screen simply isn’t fine enough.

This press in wonderfully well built and certainly a quality addition to our office java solutions. That said, after roughly a dozen brews the spout dribbles on almost every pour regardless of how careful I am. Personally I'd make it a V shape for version 2.0 - food for thought. Thanks, team!

There is a tiny chip in the black finish near the rim of the pot, but I decided it was not worth the postage to return. The Clara is an attractive, sturdy french press. It does a better job filtering the grounds than other presses I have had. I am pleased with the brew.

Build quality, design ergonomics, aesthetic sensibility, material quality — all top notch perfect. No logo on the side, elegant. Performance of pour and clean cup and clean up, all great.
