We received this Smart TV through a grant designed to enhance and promote the knowledge and use of technology in our community. We are very excited here at the Senior Center to have this available to us. We are slowly learning all the features the Smart TV has to offer. There is so much there! So far we have used the TV to play background music while our seniors play cards and for the waiting patients for our satellite clinic here in our building. We have also shown a movie through Netflix on it for our Sunday afternoon Flicker Fest here at the Senior Center. We are excited to do more things as we learn it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Picture value is excellent along with the feature applications offered. The universal remote control could have been easier to set up and use, especially since I am using it on a Samsung home theater system. Other than that, the value for the price is excellent

Cons: cumbersome unversal remote

Samsung 40" Smart TV

I found this size television for my bedroom at a remarkable price. I wanted to get a smart tv to be able to subscribe to various streaming providers to see if it was worth it before buying a stick for the large flat screen in the family room. So far it's everything I'd hoped for.

It doesn't allow u to download videos! Misleading!
Pros: Built-in speakers
Cons: Did not meet expectations, can't download videos!!!, won't allow you to download adobe flash player !

I have had the TV for about a month and so far I find it to be excellent. This is my second Samsung Smart TV the first being about 2 years old and both have met or exceeded my expectations. As a side note I purchased a small Samsung refrigerator in 1984 while stationed in Korea and its still running today as it did when it was new.

A nice TV with a lot of great features but needs better design

I purchased this TV and then found out that HBO Go is not compatible with this model as well as Facebook. Also every time I turn the TV off, my cable box is shut off. After contacting customer support, the fix was to turn off the universal remote feature which also disabled other features. Seems like a poor design and poor work around.
The TV picture is sharp and clear and the set up was painless and easy but the lack of HBO Go and cable box issue left me with more to desire from this TV.

Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i love my tv because is smart, i have never owned a smart computer i bearly bought it this year and i moved to az i didnt have a place to conected so i borrowed to my brother untill i got my own place he enjoid it first but now im doing it thanks smasung for this tv
