Good value for Money, with little more internet processing speed, it would be ultimate product

positives: brightness, color display are great. Value for money.
Negatives: slow in booting the TV. takes more than 3 mins in getting the TV started for using smart features.

Overall: Much better option than my earlier LG Smart TV. i am very satisfied with this product as it meets my expectations. once the TV boots completely, it works well. little discomfort but a great value for the investment i had put in.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: speed of starting smart tv features

As usual, another great TV from Samsung. This is my fourth Samsung TV, and picture, option, and performance keeps getting better. A++++++++++
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Great Buy at a Great Price!

I did a lot of research on a big flat screen TV before purchasing the 50in Samsung Smart flat screen TV.. I wanted a "Smart TV" - capable of accessing the internet for movies, etc. We already had a smaller flat screen Samsung so we felt sure the quality would be there with a Samsung purchase of a larger flat screen and it is. Setup was very easy and the system is user friendly, but Samsung's "live" technical support personnel were there for me EVERY MINUTE that I needed support which was super! The only issue I experienced that those wanting to purchase a flat screen with internet access may is that the router may have to be placed in closer proximity to the TV for setup, around 15ft or so. Enjoying!!!!

This product has amazing picture quality. I like it, and I also like how it automatically like your cellphone chooses screen brightness depending on the lighting of the room!

Great set, but no HDMI ARC support

This TV is a great value for the money, but there's one feature that's missing that I truly feel is a bad choice on Samsung's part. The lack of HDMI Audio Return Channel. While this may be overcome with a TOSLINK optical cable, it's very disappointing that this feature, albeit an optional part of the HDMI specification, was omitted. Users who'll be connecting this set to an home theater receiver with ARC on HDMI monitor out need to be prepared to get a TOSLINK cable if they don't already have a spare.
Apart from this one gripe, I'm happy with what Santa brought me for Christmas!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: lack of hdmi arc support

Words can't describe how sharp and clear the picture is. I also thoroughly enjoy the ability to record other shows. Samsung makes a quality product at a reasonable price.

Disappointed in SMART Features. The box showed many Apps to be used with the TV. When TV was turned on, only a few Apps where listed (little or no value). Was hoping to use a SKYPE app, but the app was no where to be found. It looks like you need to buy a Samsung camera to use SKYPE on this TV. Was not able to find any information on loading any new apps.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor apps
