Bought this because it is lighter, and turns out, faster, than the large Cuisinart kettle without any plastic. Easy to use, uses less electricity too. Great for single cup pourover.

I like the kettle overall, but would prefer if there was an option to silence the kettle, as the beeper can be quite loud. I would also prefer if the temperature could be changed to celcius.

Wonderful kettle. This works incredibly well, heats up fast, and holds the temperature.
If you use up all the water, make sure to not place the kettle back on the stand. This took some getting used to, but not a big deal.
The safety feature kicks in and it beeps and shows Error on the unit. Not a big deal, just wish there was a way to prevent without waiting on the base to “time out” before placing the kettle back on it.
This is minor though. The actual functionality and usability are a 5/5

Pretty perfect. Don't like the steam valve on the lid - even though it has arrows to line up, I often forget. Have to hold the on button down for some time to get it going - helpful for safety I suppose but not needed in our household. Dislike that the button is lit red 24/7. Looks nice on the counter. Easy to use for pour overs and other detailed pours. I appreciate the temperature options being preset and the guide on what to use for coffee and different teas. Replaced a Brewista I loved that went belly up after a year and was outside the warranty period.

I love the display with the current and tareget temperatures. The temperature is easy to set. The large mouth makes it easy to add water. Pours very well. The on switch takes a few seconds to function. Sometimes it gets in a situation where you think you have poured your tea and turned the device off, but it doesn't know it and it shows a funny error because the kettle is empty but it wants to heat. Power cyclinng does not help. you have to add water, water for the error to clear then pour the warer out. I quickly learned how to avoid this - make sure the "thermomete" icon beside the power is turned off and then power down.

I bought this several weeks ago and am very pleased. Our old hot water kettle had a crack in the plastic window and we were afraid it would fail. Plus we are trying to reduce our exposure to plastics and this was the highest rated kettle in Wirecutter that did not contain plastic. So we went for it. It heats up the water very quickly and another thing I love is that you can set the temperature based on what you are brewing. We used to just use boiling water for everything, but I’ve discovered that using water at temperatures specific for coffee and different types of tea really does bring out the flavor. And the gooseneck allows you to control the water flow much better. It also holds your temperature for a half hour, making refills easier. My wife wishes it held a little more water than it does, but I’m very pleased with 1 liter.
