Great for Halloween decor

My husband and I enjoyed building this haunted mansion. I especially liked the storyline that went with everything. The organ was and glowing painting was really cool. The only part that didn't work perfectly was the elevator shaft. It was just a tiny bit narrow and made a clicking sound at times. My husband ended up slightly greasing it and it worked. I used it for my Halloween decor this year and will continue to use it as Halloween decorations. It was the biggest set we built so far and had fun building it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you have any more issues with your elevator, here's a tip! We've found that sometimes the gears are just a little too tight in the build and that doesn't allow them to work properly! If you ever need assistance, get in touch at LEGO.build/Service-BV.

Great design

Story about the house is fun and can add to the description of what the house is about to others that wonder why I built it. A call out to the design and engineering team on how this house was built and how the tower works. You cannot appreciate the work and design of this until you build it and how the tower/elevator ride works. Very good and clever. The only crazy thing was putting the chain together with 149 links. I was worried about dropping them onto the floor and not finding them, so put on a white towel to easily see the links and keep them from being swept off the table.

Spooky Fun

I bought this set to usher in the spooky season and add to the fall decor around the house. I got particularly excited when I heard that an acquaintance had some difficulty with the build. Nothing I love better than a tricky build! This set didn't let me down. There was entertainment all along the way with fun little mini builds that added to the mansion decor and story. Exciting and unique uses of building techniques that had me asking out load if some of the instructions were even Lego legal. I definitely recommend this one for anyone who is looking for a bit of a challenge. Just know, it's massive! (Super tall!) Not sure where we will put it once the spooky season has passed.

This Haunted House is AWESOME. It is also a great piece to add to any Lego City. putting the chain link together was a LITTLE tedious but worth it in the end! I need to look into adding a motor adaptor to have it run itself. Awesome build. Worth the money. All the fun!

This is an amazing build. I’m so impressed with this one. All I can say is this was a frightening build with awesome features. The details and the app to interact. Wow. Team LEGO I don’t think I’ll ever stop admiring these builds. Fans who read this, I highly recommend getting the sets you want and just enjoy the builds. At first I was like nah, until I purchased my first set. The rest is history. I enjoy every build. Thanks Team LEGO. I give a 10 out of 10 on this one. A spooky build with all the extra scares.
