package arrived 2 days late and in an oil soaked box. Not sure why, since this is electric and battery, but I will blame it on shipping company. Overall, it is a decent blower for average snowfall in the 2-5" range. Higher than that, or very wet, you need a two stage blower anyway. I switched from a gas powered single stage blower of 15 years. This is not quite as powerful, but so nice to simply push a button and start!

This winter has been rough in Mass. I just came in from using my new SnowJoe . I actually was hesitant because the snow is like cement today. Well, this little machine did a great job with the wet heavy snow. It took a few passes because it was slush under the layer of snow, but overall it worked great. The battery lasted the entire time I was doing the driveway (75x20ft). The snow was about 7.5 inches and I had to go slow. I would like to remind people this is not self propelled so you use your own power to push it. I knew this ahead of time, but several friends have asked me about this feature. It is the perfect size for me and starts up right away. I love it. I bet it will be even better on light fluffy snow, but I don't want to wish for any more snow this season!!
