Finally got some snow to try it out. Had an iON18SB and loved it. I was intrigued by the hybrid concept an decide to try it. I have 2 - 4ah batteries that I use farthest away from the house. When they run out I just remove the battery, plug in the cord and keep going. I think maybe the AC motor is even more powerful that the DC motor. Now I can just finish up the job and be done with it for the day. Great product.

We do not get much snow but what we do get is wet and heavy. I was not sure if this particular machine would do the job. Well, we got snow, it was wet, and the Sno Joe did just fine with it. Had to walk quickly behind it so get the snow thrown past about 4 feet but that just gave me the incentive to exercise...and I did not use an extension cord just the battery.

We didn't get a lot if snow as yet. But we did get 4 inches to try this out on. We were amazed how strong the snow blower worked on battery. We bought the one with the option on plugging it in if needed. I would recommend this item. And it sold at a nice price also.
