I have been walking around all day with my mouth gaped wide open basking in the Awesomeness of the new features of this phone. the amazing picture quality and epic photo quality. I don't think they can do any better. now watch them go and do something better. But until then. this is the tea!!!

Great battery life, amazing camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a Galaxy S9 with a new, unlocked S21 ultra several weeks ago. We were concerned about the price, of course but not so much after we were able to take some amazing pictures with the camera. E.g. (a) taking 30X zoom pictures of a doe at 60 yards or so in the late dawn cleaning her two newly born fawns in a meadow and encouraging both to trust their legs, (b) using the night mode to capture some beautiful landscapes under moonlight partially muted by scattered clouds, and (c) great to-the-individual-hair-and-whisker of our 2-year-old cat at night with no ambient light other than the television. If I capture a close-up of a butterfly or a landscape at no zoom, i can zoom in on the photograph and see unpixelated images that amaze anyone to whom I show them.
As a bonus, its battery life far surpasses the battery life of my older S9. That makes me more comfortable taking it with me on long hikes.
