Awesome head unit!!!

I absolutely love this head unit!!! It‚ large and has all of the add-ones I wanted. It is difficult to install because of the limited space in the dashboard behind the head unit, but the online instructions do a great job of walking you through it. For all that this unit does the price was fair and reasonable. If you are planning to add the GPS and satellite radio I would suggest that you do it during the initial install, finances permitting. If you add them after the initial install, as I did, you will obviously have to remove the head unit add the items and then try again to get all of the wires into the limited dashboard space, which is the biggest pain of the installation process. Overall experience = A+++!!!

Best option for any Jeep I have

I have a few Jeeps, starting with the 17 JKU then 13 JK, 14 JK, 04 TJ, 04 LJ, 20 JL, and moving to 2000 XJ, 91 XJ and 99 XJ. I started with the JKU and got the Kenwood unit and a Chinese unit in the 13 and Pioneer in the 14, but after trying the Stinger in the 20 I removed the others and now have 4 Stinger units and love it. The install process is easy the units are sturdy took a flipping in the 13 JK and no issues after yet. Rugged, great and easy to update if needed, you can run any app you want for offroading and keeping the city folk happy when in town. And the support folks are awesome too which is a huge plus when you have a question that is not in the forums or just some random dumb idea, they will help you figure it out. Add on extra cameras for viewing when camping or trailing and running a small camper in back even. Wish it fit in the WK2 I am looking at buying but sadly that is a cramped space.

Amazed with how easy this was to install and the customer service is great. They send you a video of how to install yourself, saving $ paying someone else to do it. The video was easy to understand.

Best head unit out there

I had the the original small head unit and this is 1000000000000% better. The difference is night and day. 10 inch screen is awesome. I connected a front camera that helps me when in parking or off-roading. I also got the gps and it works great! Honestly this is a must have and a huge upgrade. Don‚ wait like I did they sold out and had to wait for a bit. It will change your jeep for the better.

I very much like the functionality in the Stinger and other than some occasional glitches when changing screens, it performs well. Android Auto is in sore need of an update though. I had a 3rd party do the install, and they claim it took them 7 hrs to complete it. Hence the "difficult" rating below. This was their first Stinger install.

Not what I expected

I just had one installed in November in my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado. It did not retain much of the OEM settings as advertised. Although it fits beautifully and the 10 inch screen is a plus it upsets me that it doesn‚ not even display outside temperature let alone any of the vehicle‚ features as advertised. No climate control settings, no tire pressure details, no gauge displays at all I lost that information on my info screen that was displayed between my speedometer and tach.

We have had a great experience with this product both in the 2021 Jeep Gladiator and the 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sport. It provides a large viewing screen and great navigation options as well.
