Filters work well and water taste good. We pre-filter our good quality city river water (average 90 tds) to make the zero filters last longer. Wish Zero would make a 10 cup pitcher without the tester slot and with a larger fill port. We do not store the tester in the slot!

Our water is very hard in California with lots of dissolved solids. It’s amazing how these filters will take the TDS from 400+ down to zero. Absolutely perfect for our coffee machine so there’s no kind of calcium buildup inside. Can’t recommend these enough. Great deal for the 16 pack and should last us quite a long time.

Many filters do not drain properly. The reservoir, even when left over night still does not drain through the filter completely. The filtered water is great, if only the filter would let all of it through.

From time to time, a filter may develop an air bubble or air pocket. Carefully lift the reservoir, grip the body of the filter at its mid-section and give the filter 4-5 squeezes while there is water filtering through. This will return the flow back to its normal state.

I've been using zerowater for 8 years. I enjoy the clean fresh tasting water these filters produce. I bought the 16 pack to be prepared for the next few years or for an emergency. It is a good deal.

We certainly apologize for the continued frustrations with the filters, the filter getting air locked like this is a common occurrence with a gravity fed filtration system. Unfortunately it is just somewhat the nature of the technology, generally if you put an inch of water in the reservoir and then grip the middle section of the filter with both hands and firmly squeeze the filter in a pumping action until you are completely certain that there is no more air coming out of the top of the filter this will solve the issue for the life of that filter. If you do not clear all of air from the filter this issue will continue to compound itself over and over. Also never fill the reservoir directly from the faucet or spigot from your sink as this is naturally aerated and will force air down inside the filter. It is best to fill the reservoir with a large glass or measuring cup and pour into the corner of the reservoir away from the center of the filter. If there is ever a filter that simply just will not fix itself when the aforementioned trouble shooting steps have been followed we are more than happy to replace that filter. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
