the first filter out of pack was very chlorine like tasting, I had to change it to another one and it improved a little but our tap water tastes better without it. My previous filters from ZeroWater tasted like fish after few weeks. These taste like chlorine. The instructions were followed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our city water is not that bad so that these filters each last quite a while. Folks do like the taste of the filtered water, so I now have filters that should last over a year at a good price per filter.
