We're sorry to hear that you're not loving your Commuter Series case! While that case is compatible with Qi charging pads, it is not designed for optimal functionality with MagSafe accessories. Keep in mind, when it comes to Qi charging, this case will perform best with OtterBox branded wireless chargers. I ordered this case about a week after buying my new phone AND a case for it. The case was not an Otterbox, which should have been my clue that it was not the case for me. I was not happy with the new case and decided to order the Commuter Series case. I LOVE the size and color. I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a new case!

Bought the Commuter Series for my New iPhone 12Max after previously using the Symmetry Series for my iPhone 11Max. The thickness of the 2 is relatively the same +/-, but if you keep your phone in your front pocket of your pants, having the port protection on the Commuter series is key to keeping lint and dirt out of your charging port. I've used Otterbox covers on all my phones for years now, wouldn't use anything else.

Does not work well with wireless charging

I purchased this case and it appears to protect the phone well. It says it works with QI wireless and magsafe charging. This case does not work well with either of these charging options.
