This is my 3rd commuter case that I have purchased for my iPhones. It’s sleek, stylish, low profile and yet still sturdy enough to take a drop. While I haven’t dropped my iPhone 12 pro max with the case on, I have dropped previous versions of the case and it’s durable. I expect no less from this case. You’ve got a customer for life.....

Doesn't work with MagSafe

I bought this case for my iPhone 12 Pro and wanted a case to work with MagSafe. I filtered by MagSafe and this case came up. I just checked to make sure I didn't make a mistake and see it's still listed under MagSafe cases. This DOES NOT work with MagSafe.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best protection

I didn’t feel safe with the Otterbox symmetry because my 12 pro max is fragile to me. I decided to get the Otterbox Commuter instead because I dropped it on accident already and my case is still like new as well. Plus with the symmetry case, it’s hard to get off and I felt scared if it was going to break my phone or something. At least it didn’t but I just don’t see how the symmetry cases are safe anymore. That’s why I decided to go with the Commuter. I seriously love it too. Now I’m not as worried anymore about my phone breaking or cracking. I have been with the Otterbox company sense I had the iPhone 4s back then but I would always get the symmetry case but for now on, I will always get the commuter case when I always decide to upgrade to a new iPhone. I feel a lot safer with the Otterbox Commuter case. Otterbox is the best

...AAAAND without fail, no more than 2 days after putting this case on I dropped my brand spanking new iPhone 12 Pro Max - also 3x’s after that and in between this review (We have kids so no explanation needed)
Not one dent, not one scratch. Phone is in perfect working condition.
Buttons function easily as well. Nothing gets obstructed.
Great product!

Always the same colors. Literally every year you can’t pick any new color, because otterbox doesn’t change much on the commuter case. It’s my favorite case since it’s not to bulky. This sibgettibg boring
