Pros: High Edges! The edges are raised about 1/5" above the screen even with a glass screen protector!
Rear Camera edges are raised about 1/5" above the lenses and 1/4" above the back of the phone.
Edges around rear camera are black.
More drop protection then most cases.
Cons: Need more color options. Especially dark red.
Room for improvement: The edges around the rear camera could be more matte.
FYI: This case is trades improved protection for a bit more bulk.

Upgraded to the iPhone 12 from an iPhone 8 and I'm really glad I did. The phone has worked flawlessly and I like the full screen. The battery life is a surprise it goes about 3 days without charging as the 8 had to be charged daily. The Otter-box fits perfectly and is light and fits in my pocket with no problem.

The volume buttons on the left hand side are so extremely hard to push in and make them work along with on button on the right hand side for the off/on. They really need work done on them to make it easier.

I have been a Defender user for years. I switched to the Commuter because the thin plastic on the defender seems to always crack. So far the Commuter has been ok. I do not like the flexible sides near the top. After a month I can already see where it will stretch out and get loose.
I would recommend this to a friend!
